hm! a movie praising the memory of a terrorist who was bent on returning england to catholic rule.
so maybe v wasn't guy, but that doesn't make the movie any more lucid or morally viable. v tortured evie in order to make her unafraid...discuss this w/the prisoners of gitmo & see what they make of the logic.
v carried out his vendetta against the government for the torture they put him through, so how come evie isn't likewise itching for a vendetta against v? she has a bit of a hissy fit, then all is forgiven and she twitters off into the night.
the movie doesn't seem to know if it's 1984, zorro, or phantom of the opera.

Jesus was a revolutionary man and stood up against the rich and powerfull. Jesus was a hero and a savior for the people.

V represent Jesus but V is asking the people not to wait for a savior that they have the power to stand up against their Government.

Also, on the subject of Evey, "E" is the fifth letter of the alphabet and similarly, the letter "V" is the number 5 in Roman numerals. Similar references are made through V's background, choice of words and action. V is held in Larkhill cell number “V”.

A favourite Latin phrase of V's is from Christopher Marlowe's The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus: "Vi veri veniversum vivus vici" ("By the power of truth, I, a living man, have conquered the universe"). In a dance with Evey, the song V chooses is number five on his jukebox, though all the songs on his jukebox are numbered "5".

When V confronts Creedy in his home, he plays Beethoven's "Fifth" Symphony, whose opening notes have a rhythmic pattern that resembles the letter “V” in Morse code (···–). Also, Big Ben shows the start of the group of V's at 11:05 p.m., creating a giant V on the clock face. When Evey is brought to confess for the first time, the background light is shown diagonal to show the left side of a V, and the opposite when Evey refused to confess at the end.

I went to watch V three times over the weekend there is something about the film that I cant seem to get my mind round but it is trying to say something., but I noticed this little bits...

When V kills creedy and goes to the meet evey he makes a bloody V on the wall ... In finches offfice there is a picture of a women in a red dress... the same picture is also On the wall in the BTN. V is reading Roots of Coincidence by Arthur Kosler.

When finch sees Eveeys picture he uses the famous trinity remark... Gotcha.

When the cop trys to catch V... He uses the

Freeze... Do it do it Now...

This might be coincidental but I doubt it...

Allso after V kills Creedy you notice that there is like a wave across the screen as like when neo flys out the matrix in one. at the end.

Eh, I just thought it was a funny pic.

And ad icin evoc deht does not mean anything special, I just took the da vinci code title and threw the letters around, for fun, sort of haha!

No one talks about them and that seems weird to me.

Did anyone else see the very short clip of Evey (with hair once again, so presumably in the far futuren [a few years or so]) tending to a vase full of scarlet carsons then walking away. When she does we see a reflection of a man sitting on a chair in the same position as Finch does a few times in the earlier parts of the film when he is sipping on his booze. It is in the montage of Finch's vision of "what is going to happen" as he talks to Dominique after visiting Larkhill. You know, the domino scene.

What's going on with the last piece of the dominoes that doesn't fall?

We see it later near the end of the movie again..

When Finch is speaking about his vision that everything was connected and that it's really a long chain of events, V is building the dominoes..

Does it mean that now the time has come for V's last thing to do? (Last domino)

Am I guessing right, do you think something else or can you explain it better?

ok man, first, the only thing i just say now is the fact the evey is always wearing V-neck shirt of some sort, is that what u meant?

also, i took it as the last domino not falling was V including the possibility that Evey wouldn't come, he knew that he was going to die there, and he needed evey to finish the job for him...


Finally, to everyone, this movies has changed my life, (i finally watched it today), and if anyone has ANY info on the where about of the W's, even a rumor, can u please give it to me...i need to talk to them about something
