»The truth, is it out there«

I have been pondering on these two quotes, for a few months now. and it goes:

Is it possible to find the truth in a world full of lies, disceet, and control. Is it possible that the truth will someday reveal or present itself to those who believe. Or will we never be free because of the lie, by which i mean the lie will control us, kill us, etc. etc.

Now this thread is for the people out there that believe in something, or believe like me... So i would like to hear your thoughts on the quote.

in order to find the truth we must free ourselves from boundaries dat we dont see.. or dat we dont even know they exist..

We can keep searching, but we'll never be sure.. we ll never never find it out byourself, we need guidance..

So the truth? it is out there....soemtiems we cant look for it....it has to come to us. in how we see situations. or could come from our friends or familys. the truth can come from a person on the street wearing a sign that is illralivent to what is the truth but could click something in your mind. its out there....just open your eyes and mind.

If you want to know the truth, you will also know the truth about yourself ("Know Thyself") and that is much too scary for alot of people. So they rather filter out some stuff and partly live in a lie.

So to know the truth is to first challenge your own Smith, get to know him by fighting (!) him and then embrace him. Only then you can know the truth.

Very good point, facing your inner demons is sometimes hard to do. but i believe that you are right, when you fully know yourself, then the truth is not that far away. thanks Mobil_Ave_Neo

you cant always say that the truth is impure.
if you always believe this is true, then you will never search for the truth.
mobil made a good point when he said that people deny the truth if it is bad.
but who says that the truth is always bad.
but is learning the truth of what happens really a bad thing.

it is called the REAL WORLD

knowing the truth is a choice.
but is it a choice you are willing to make.

there is nothing that says that this world isnt the matrix.
i believe that the matrix is a BIG part of our FUTURE
wether you believe this or not, it is your CHOICE

i will give a thumbs up to anybody who understands this

I think the only reason for that we are here is that we are looking for answers and those answer will be given at the right time and the right moment.. so if we dont believe that there's something out there that can give us the answer to many questions; then we dont have anything to live for and our lives will be so empty and so hopeless.. Yep I do believe that one day I will get to know the truth, and I know for sure I will like it!

Good post, i think you are. But i would be nice to see the truth soon rather than later though. , good luck in finding your answer to the question you seek.

But is it a lie for the people inside of the matrix without 'a splinter in their mind' ?

Off course, as an audience, we know it is a lie. But that doesn't necessarily make it a lie for the ignorant bluepills.

So if all you have known, and do know is a lie, the chance you will find the truth is small.

But that splinter in your mind (figuratively spoken), is that still part of the lie, or is that the first glimpse of the truth that you see ? Are you then already 'looking past the lie', but you just don't see it yet.

The truth is not absolute ... take for instance the prophecy :

is it true ? or false ?

In Morpheus' (&co) interpretation, it isn't true, but does that mean the prophecy is a lie? I think not. The war did end, people are not any longer imprisoned in the matrix ('Obviously they - that want out- will be freed'), the matrix as a prison is 'destroyed'.

The key thing here is -from my pov-, does it matter if it is a lie, if it doesn't bother you (ignorance is bliss) ?

You could say clockwork that the quotes are (metaphoriclly speaking) the splinters in are minds.

Well you are a nice guy THE_FIRST_ONE and I mean no disrespect.

The only two peeps in this world who really know the truth about the Matrix are the two peeps that created the trilogy.

Maybe the truth comes close to our theories, maybe not. Maybe they are laughing their asses off while reading our theories.

The point is, right now I still enjoy to think about the Matrix in many ways: cool action sequences to watch and make me feel good, intelligent thinking about the computer science, philosophical discussion and spiritual experience.

It does not matter to me that I do not fully know the truth. If I did know the truth, I would not be posting so many messages and articles here.

The point is that if you form a theory, then it has to make logical sense. And I am sorry to say, but most of your theories do not make sense to me. Claiming that you find me to be a smart person, then why don't I understand your so called theories?

Even if the Wachowski's would admit that it was just a big joke and a deceit, I still would not be in shock.

They cannot take away the things I had thanks to the Matrix: fun, brain training, spirtual eye-openers and more self-knowledge.

but i can see through m2 and m3, and i know there is something not right about them.

what is the real reason why we are here, if it is not to find the truth. It sounds to me the_first_one that you are a blue piller. you want to know the truth but not except it just dismiss it.

But while the rest of us (hoping clockwork is in the team lol) are red pillers, we will search and want to find the truth and when we eventually find if it is good or bad we will except it because it will be the truth.

I have read many of your posts on many different topics, and, I have to say that you are a scary person in some respects. You obviously are a big fan of The Matrix trilogy. Nothing wrong with that. You do, however, have a very arrogant way of trying to tell everyone that posts that you are the only person here who REALLY understands what it is all about, and that YOU are the only person making any sense in the threads. I am beginning to get a feeling that you really, truly believe that The Matrix really exists, that we are in it, and that soon you will be freed. I say this because of the things you say in a lot of your posts, covering lots of topics. So, what's really going on? Have you taken the "Red Pill"? Are you shore that you are talking bout the_first_one. Because it seems to me that he dont believe in anything. But what he does believe is putting his point of view across even if it is right or wrong.

Thanks for welcoming me to the site, I have found this to be a very active & interesting forum. Yes, I am indeed speaking of The_First_One. Every thread I read seems to contain something from this user, and most posts are the same. He is right everyone else is wrong, hardly anything makes sense, althought there are some times when he makes perfect sense. I have read a lot of his posts, and quite frankly I am frightened and disturbed by some of the things I have read. You should go view his profile, click to see all posts, and read the story he wrote about the man born inside the Matrix, as well as my reply to it. Read some of the posts, it is really quite scary....

I think that line is so true, in find the truth to the matrix.
