»Making a Matrix movie...«

So I was bored and decided it would be a great idea to get some people together to make a Matrix movie. It is just going to be a very low-budget film using my cousin and his friends as actors. I am going to be writing, filming, directing, editing, and acting in this movie. I haven't started writing it yet but I have a couple ideas that haven't been tried before. I am not trying to continue or base my movie off of any throries, just making a spinoff. The movie is just for fun and to see how much of a fool we can make ourselves. My first plan is to research the Matrix a bit more and watch all 3 movies numerous times plus reading things on this site aswell. So to wrap up this post. Any ideas that I should use? Or any plot ideas? I will give credit in the movie for anything I use.

how about you do the story of a prevous one, or of a newer hacker who hasnt been unplugged, and the agents and trying to stop him, and you are trying to protct him.

How about agent Smith in his rookie years, not being cynical and bittered yet

Ending in his first fight with Seraph, which he loses and where his first frustrations are a fact.

Or how about Trinity being unplugged?

thanks for the idea. I do not really want to base my story off of already existing characters. I do like the protecting a hacker thing. I still need some more ideas though.

I think I have a good idea for the plot. I cannot tell you what it is for it is not finished.

Does anyone know what the song is that plays in the very beginning of the movie.. from neo's headphones just before trinity hacks onto neo's computer?

This is just an idea. The main character (x) could be a pauper who is having a really bad life not being able to pay bills and all that stuff. One day he gets a call from an unknown person that wants to meet x in a secret location. The unknown person reveals herself as a program that is willing to offer a deal to x. X is told all about the matrix and all that stuff, the program then says to x that he will be rebooted into the matrix as a wealthy and successful person if he befriends the zionists in the matrix and then one by one kills them off. X agrees and is trained in all martial art forms by the program.

I am currently writing the script for this.

A hacker seeking fame and fortune through hacking various databases throughout the internet. Whe he is contacted by a female that says she can help him achieve his dreams. They meet up in an alleyway where she explains to him that there was a seperate part of the matrix that was being created as a Utopia for certain individuals for certain reasons. That section was never finished therefore many rules of it can be broken or changed very easily. SHe takes him into an empty room where she frees him form the Matrix. There she then tells him that only his hacking skills can gain him acess to this "Utopia". He gets into it and discovers that it isn't what it was desribed as. The only thing is, there is no wya out. That is where me an my friends come in to help him when we notice that there are some extremely weird things going on in the matrix. They have to protect this hacker without getting killed themselves. Of course they will run into agents on the way, along with some other threats.

Thats it, does it sound corny or what? lol It is kind of hard to really get anything out of it just yet because I haven't done any in depth thinking yet. Feedback?

Not a idea for a plot, think it could work.

Well it has been a long time and i haven't got anywhere with this. I just might do it soon though.
