The Matrix IS more or less true:

When I first saw the Matrix, I just thought, that it was a great movie.
but then i became obsessed with it and still after more than a year, when i first saw them all, I still try to figure it out.

and then i began to see the real lies in this world. about what the government does. about some things that are so wrong in this world.
It's like a splinter in your mind.

Because there is just so much to think about. no one can possibly understand everything about it and the questions it awakens.. maybe the wachowski brothers themselves dont know either. but i doubt it..

That's a question every individual has the opportunity to answer for themselves whenever they choose. All that is required is the desire to look and the willingness to open the mind to the possibility that there is much, MUCH more to life and who we are than what we have been thinking.

I made the choice to "take the red pill", so to speak, almost 11 years ago. Based upon my personal experiences I can tell you that The Matrix movies are more relevant to our world/humanity than most people would probably like to believe. Perhaps unfortunately, like Morpheus told Neo in the first movie, no one can adequately explain it. To believe is one thing. To KNOW is quite another. You must experience what I'm talking about to know it.

I will say that the explanation of "What it is", given by Morpheus to Neo before he made the choice to take the red pill was very accurate. It is everywhere. The signs are everywhere. They are inescapable. It is "the world pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth".

I can tell you that there are already people in the world who see and understand the matrix that humanity is creating with their own individual and collective mentalities. Those people are working diligently to remove themselves from it by "freeing their minds", otherwise known as "resolving their judgements" about everything they think they know about life, in order to reclaim the power and majestic experience of life that is our true heritage and what you may call destiny.

I don't. I use the movies to reflect upon my own life in order to see where my own self imposed limitations are. Once identified I work to undo those limitations.

Thanks agame. Not sure which post you are responding to, but my first post about the matrix being real is not a theory. All one needs to do is look at the system of control in place in their lives which is meant to keep them in line, doing what they are "supposed" to be doing, which is laid out for them in the form of rules and laws in their respective societies from the moment they are born. The kicker is that we have become so ignorant that we blindly accept and support this way of life even though it makes us miserable most of the time. The grand kicker of them all is that most people support this way of life so fully that they will fight to keep it if an option to change is presented.

Think about it.

I am here because I choose to try to influence and provoke the thinking of people who are already focused on conceprts presented in The Matrix.

I don't think for a second we are in a computer generated dream world. We are in a socialpsychological and economic matrix however. We are coppertops being drained of our lives working them away to enrich others. They teach us some skill to get a job but don't teach us accounting so we can preserve our wealth for ourselves. We are slaves Matricitizens. We are caught in the matrix of lies woven by the economics profession.
