I don't think that explains anything. First off in Zion there is also some traces of red. Like in the Temple scene and even when Neo and Councillar Haaman go down to the engineering level there is a red glow there. Zion being in the Matrix doesn't make sense because the trilogy would be pointless. All this fighting for nothing and it probably would have been revealed in Revolutions. The W bros wouldn't leave that out if Zion was another matrix.

I know Neo using his powers in the real world would be your arguement but the Oracle said his powers extend from the Matrix to all the way where it came from the Source. The 'Ones' before Neo never used their powers in the real world because they conformed to what the machines wanted them to do returning to the source through the Architect's office. Neo chose his own path and found out some different things about the 'One'. Like he could use his powers in the real world and see that Machine City was made of golden light. Obviously the other 'Ones' didn't see this since no human had ever been within 100km of it.

Like I've said before something special had to be put into Neo when being grown by the Machines. The Architect had been watching Neo his whole life knowing most likely he was the 'One' so what I'm saying is Neo as we all know is human but different from even other humans. Thus he being able to see Machine City built of light.

Question, if neo took over all the bodies just as smith did, copy him self too all those plugged in, couldnt he free them all and or crash the matrix. Maybe that was the real way to beat the machines. Use the system against themselves.

I agree with Jermaine101 zion is not in the matrix, that would be just pointless, also i also think neo could use his powers outside of the matrix becase he chose his own path in the architects office.

one problem with that theory bcalla, neo is not a program. He might be able to do amazing things, but I think its because he has a very strong mind, the difference between neo and smith is that neo is human and smith is a program, neo got his powers by freeing his mind further, smith got his powers by upgrading

I think there is a possibilty that Zion is another Matrix. Who knows there might not be a real world. Just Matrix after Matrix.
