Hi all,

for those who were debating about Sati controlling the sun or not, the last trailer explains more about it.

The little girl says that the sun "is not staying up and is all jerky" when she's working on something else.

The Oracle said that it was because of a few bugs caused by the Smith business. But if Sati is an exile, thus illegal in the matrix, how comes she has such a power ?

I think that the programs who are controlling the trees, the birds, etc. have a human aspect (for example the chessman) but they go unoticed as long as they do their job.

Neo:"there is no spoon"
Merovingian:"there is no lipstick!"
Inevitability

She says "it's all jerky while I'm doing my work."

This is her work. She is no longer an exile, this is her purpose now. That's what I took from this scene, and it makes sense following the end of Revolutions.

Is that what Sati thinks her purpose is? Or is that what she is being told by the Oracle?

Because as we all know the Oracle is very manipulative.

Revolution is the birth of equality and the antithesis to oppression...

According to what the Oracle said just before, the "work" is not the sun. Why would the sun be jerky only while she does her work ?

The Matrix seems to be an analogy of the old deities system, you know where every concept had a god (the wind, the light, etc.).

I believe that all the programs are personalized by a human-like program. For example, the Oracle would the program that controls rain and wind (hence the fact that Smith learnt how to fly). Bad idea ?

I still think that the Oracle is the human-interace or RSI of the prime program.

When Smith created the bad weather, it could be from other programs he assimilated.

I thought he just wanted it that way because that was his nature. He wanted everything to be gloomy and at his desire. That's why he asks Neo "You like what I've done with the place?" referring to the weather and all the Smiths.

Yeah but don't forget that he could fly. And his flying was different from the way Neo was flying.
For example, there is a trail of dust behind Smith when they fight inside the building, while Neo has some kind of reality distorsion around his feet.

Also, when Smith copied the Oracle, there was a lot of wind around the Oracle/Smith.

Also about Smith flying he didn't have to kneel down like Neo did to fly. Just an observation I came across. And to add to an early post about Smith controling the weather or rain no I don't think Smith was controlling the rain. I think it was like that because in M1 when Neo took the red pill and realized what the Matrix was it was stroming. It's alot of things in M3 that trace back to M1 like Smith finally meeting Morpheus in M1 and Smith finally meeting the Oracle in M3 the phone booth and the rain.

Yeah, nice noticing. But Neo didn't need to kneel anymore during the superbrawl.
And it does seem that Sati has a power over the Sun (and maybe the weather too?) who knows.
