Are you talking about the first original Matrix DVD or the one from the box set? For the original Matrix DVD, Im sorry to say I dont know. Im guessing that it was produced by Don Davis specially for the menu and commercials. On the box set DVD, the track is by Rob Dougan. The song is called, "Clubbed to Death." The original track is on the first Matrix soundtrack and on Dougan's albulm, Furious Angels. As far as Revolutions goes, on both the original and box set DVDs, the track is by Don Davis. "Neodammerung" is the name of the track, and is on the Revolutions soundtrack.

The eyes of truth.

just so everyone who cares knows, this is NOT the song that was originally requested. this song lacks the voices of the chorus that make this song sought after. if anybody knows the CORRECT song title, or a means of aqcuiring it, do tell.

It is the right song, there are only a few different versions.

But the voices are in there, sounds exactly like the DVD-menu and the trailer.

But I might be confused because I have two Matrix DVDs now: the original and the one from the collection box.

Yes definatly, it is a great box, and the Commentary by the philosophers Ken Wilber and Cornel West is just brilliant, very interesting.

The commentary by the critics is, uhm, lets just say that they are very annoying.

When Neo says that the machines need humans to survive to Archie one of the critics is like: And why do they need humans to survive, exactly? and the other two critics laugh.

And the funny thing is that they keep saying M1 is much better than Reloaded over and over. But apparently the critics/morons need to watch M1 again lol.

My mom does understand it for 10% or so, but she likes the way the movies are made. She likes Keanu Reeves so that is an extra motivation for her to like it.

But besides Keanu see also likes the (original) Oracle and Smith. She loves it when Smith says "Mr. Anderson!".

My dad just likes them as a cool action and special effects movies. I always bug him with the philosophical and technical stuff and sometimes he is interested, but most of the time he doesn't want to go such deep.
