I'm gonna be brief, cuz I have things to do right now. Also, I guess I'm ass anoyed as you for everyone thinking they know for sure that some things ARE and not COULD BE. I'm not gonna argue the matter anymore(i'm a MwM believer) cuz it has really pissed me off since eveyone has their opinion and not facts.

Just wanted to point something out for you Yipman: Do you reallt think that if the bros wanted to make the movie with the MwM theory on it, they would have ever shown it in the movies? I mean, if that were the truth, I really rather think that they would have left it for our interpretation, and made it a REAL PLOT TWIST, cuz it is THE MATRIX WITHIN MATRIX THEORY, it has to have a twist, and telling/showing it in the development of the trilogy is not the way I think they it would be best for the twist. And as I personally think, they would tell it on others mediums(comics, other animatrix, THE MATRIX ONLINE!), so as you can see, even if it were or not Zion a simulation, they wouldn't tell it or left REAL PLAUSIBLE info in the movies. The only way they would have made it right is by showing/telling it at the end of the trilogy(but they didn't), but again IT WOULD NOT MAKE A REAL PLOT TWIST; cuz that's what the matrix really is about isn't it? Making reality and ilussion confusing. Matrix online here we go!

Well atleast you say what you think. You think that Zion is a simulation and I think Zion is real. . But this is good, you don't claim to KNOW that ít is an mwam, you say what YOU THINK. I think they put that scene in there with Neo and the sentinels because they knew this would happen. And until some real proof shows up of Zion being real or not there is no further need to discuss this. But I still think that would be the easy way out of things, but again that's just me and it's not like my whole world is going to come crashing down if Zion turns out to be a Matrix lol.

The problem with the MwM theory is that it's just a cool idea. It has no factual basis in the movies. There is NO evidence for this theory.

Additionally, the Matrix and Zion are often portrayed as opposites. The colortint is obvious, but the most important scene is the rave scene.

If the Matrix is Heaven, then Zion is at the gates of Hell. Deep underground, lava, people embracing their animalistic sides with sexually provocative dancing... it's obvious.

Oh, and that dude who wrote those essays stole all of my ideas =(. He did, however, make an excellent point. I missed the point of all the feet in that scene. If you're too lazy to read his stuff, he says that the feet impacting the ground is making the point that it's the real world, not another simulation.

If Zion is a simulation and humans aren't really free after Revolutions, then there was no point to any of the movies.

I totally agree. The whole trilogy would be meaningless.
