infact my very first post over there was answered by another member of your faction, noVus. your faction is very nice and very helpful, a great group of people!

sadly, i have had some things happen that kept me from playing the last two weeks of beta...i got to miss all the cool stuff but i will be back in tomorrow.

about not being a member of any faction...i was at one time, i did not like it that much, as only one member ever spoke to me and that was the one that recruited me, all other members didnt really associate or speak with me, i guess because i was the 'new guy', oh well. that lasted for maybe three days. i decided to just play alone. i enjoyed it, but at times part of me wanted to belong to a group to have some friends online. but im sort of the loner type anyway, meh.

I just bought a new pc today, because my CPU fried not only its self but the motherboard as well. Very dissapointing, my old 800MHz Celeron in a Win98 pc has been running strong for six years. My fried up AMD Athlon couldnt even make it for 3 years. But my new pc is pretty nice, I went for a Celeron D 2.9GHz/80 GB HD/512 DDR RAM/48x Double Layer DVD-R+CD-R/XP Home. Still waiting for my video card to arrive though.

we work for zion. you should play on the regression server, me, zesja and gp (another member form here and IMO) are all on that server and have been playing together since yesterday.

we can help you out if you are confused or need help in trying to uderstand something.

Thats cool, I think Ill join you guys then. I have a quick question, I dont know if my video card will support the game. I know I need something with at least 64MB and DirectX 9.0, the one I just recently bought has 9.0 and 128MB of VRAM.

When I started the MxO Beta in July 2004 I had an nVidia GeForce FX5200 128MB....it was fine, worked well but I thought I might be missing out...

I upgraded to an ATI Radeon9550 in December for $119 off the shelf at CompUSA and shag me sideways it is like a whole new gaming experience.
I can ONLY imagine what it would be like with an X800Pro or something.

Thanx bro, thing is my motherboard only uses a PCI slot for a video card. It came with Intel graphics (64MB), but theres no AGP or PCI Express. I bought a nVidia FX 5500 that has 128MB and Direct X 9.0c/Open GL 1.5 because after buying a new PC, I was really short on money. I just needed something with Direct X 9.0 Ill be upgraded some of my hardware later on though.

Question, how will the monthly fee be charged? Credit Card? Thanx again.

yeah, when you register you have to give credit card info so they can just deduct it automatically each month.

Man, I just came back from trying to find the game. I went to Circuit City, Best Buy, EBGames, and Software Etc., no one had it!



I quess this is do to the fact of where I live, its a small city by the name of Bakersfield, north of LA near Fresno. Not much happens around here, so I quess none of the stores that sale PC games bothered to try and get them out earlier or ON TIME. EB Games promised me they will put up their copies tomorrow at 12pm. I shouldve pre-ordered it when I had the chance to, oh well quess Ill see you guys tomorrow then. Peace.

Did anyone happen to pick up the official Matrix Online magazine? It has some great info about MxO in there. The backstory of the Matrix and what to look for in the game, some tips and hints. Also it has spotlighted beta players in there. I think it may be a monthly magazine so I look foward to seeing the coming editions.

GOD! MxO runs so slow on my PC, lol. I have dial-up so its going to be frustrating for the first few months. The game is kinda confusing at first, its hard to get the feel of it. Every time I run towards somewhere its loads in the background, and do to the lack of speed of my connection, I can barely run.

I got one for beta testing. I saw someone trying to sell theirs on eBay. It has a n issue number but I doesn't seem like it's a monthly thing.

Hey just got the game. Looks like it will be great, but it's tough at first. Look me up in the game sometime, I'm BigTicket on the Regression server.

Question: The 'north' end of the matrix megacity, the concave bit that makes either the 'bull horns' or the 'cup' of the grail (depending on your interpretation). What makes up that edge of the city?

Is it a body of water or something? What's beyond it?

the curve at the top is an aqueduct, directly north of that is downtown, and to the northeast is the international disctrict
