»Agent Smiths?«

In Matrix 1, when Morpheus and Agent Smith are fighting, Smith says to Morpheus, "A Smith. Agent Smith."

Is he suggesting that there's more than one Agent Smith? Perhaps he's the latest version of the agent program dubbed "Smith?"

The "A" could have stood for "Agent"
On the other hand it could stand for "A" - One of many, don't forget ..."They are everyone and they are no one..."
On a personal note I think it means AWESOME!!!!!
