Trinity's a Guardian Angel?

I know this topic may be a tad obvious, but reading this site last night has really gotten me thinking. What was Trinity's true purpose in the movies? She wasn't just thrown it to give the testosterone male's a reason to watch the movies. She is Neo's "guardian angel" in the movies.

Throughout all 3 movies, Trinity's role seems to be a protector. Someone to keep "The One" alive. And once that purpose is complete, she dies. Intresting, considering how many characters talk of purpose and choice.

In the beginning of The Matrix Trinity meets Neo in the club to tell him about who is coming after him. A way of keeping him safe. Cut to the end of The Matrix, Trinity revives(?) Neo from his deathbed. Keeping Neo alive, let him continue his course as "The One".

Cut to Matrix: Reloaded. I haven't seen this movie in a while, but I'll go to the part where Neo revives Trinity. Should Neo have chosen the Right door, Neo's purpose as "The One" would have been fulfilled and Trinity's would have no purpose, and died. Because Neo chose the Left door, he saved Trinity, giving her purpose to continue.

In Matrix: Revolutions, Neo gets trapped in the train station. Because of this, Neo cannot fufill his purpose. Thus his "Guardian Angel", or Trinity, has to come and rescue him by making a deal the Merovingian. When Neo & Trinity reach 01, she dies. 01 is the end of Neo's journey as "The One". Because "The One" has reached his end, he needs no more Guardian Angel, so Trinity is killed.

I know this is probably full of plot holes, and missing examples, but its been a while since I could sit down and watch all three movies, back to back, with a critical review. I tried to go after the major examples of a guardian for Neo and the ones that everyone would know.

Thanks for reading:

Those were pretty good examples, I never looked at it that way. But now that you mention it Trinity probably was Neo's "Guardian Angel". Even in the first Matrix in the subway when Agent Smith shoots through the payphone Trinity immediately tells Tank, "You have to send me back"! They say everyONE has a "Guardian Angel".[/i]
