This is my first post here. Hello. Wink
I read about the news on

pennyarcade.com...
today, and have been looking around trying to figure out what's what.

I got a little suspicious when I noticed that some documents had her name as "Sofia" (copyright app) while others had it as "Sophia" (recent court documents). So I looked up the copywright on the script to see if it was real. And sure enough, it's there:

2. Registration Number: TXu-117-610
Title: Third eye / by Sofia Stewart.
Description: 5 p.
Claimant: Sofia Stewart
Created: 1981
Registered: 2Feb83
Special Codes: 1/B///A

3. Registration Number: TXu-154-281
Title: Third eye (add-on manuscript)
Note: Cataloged from appl. only.
Claimant: Sofia Stewart
Created: 1983
Registered: 6Feb84
Author on © Application: entire text: acSofia Pinchback Stewart (Zenia Kavala, pseud.)
Previous Related Version: Prev. reg. as tThird eye (treatment), 1983, TXu 117-610.
Claim Limit: NEW MATTER: narrative plus 8 brief chapters, pref., ill. & introductions.
Miscellaneous: C.O. corres.
Special Codes: 1/B///A
Cross Reference: acZenia Kavala , SEE Sofia Pinchback Stewart.

And sure enough, there's the pen-name, "Zenia Kavala."

All of the legal documents seem real. There has to be a real case going on - this I don't doubt.

But whether or not anything else is true -- her sending her script to them in 1986 in response to an ad (according to the court docs), which puts the brothers at 19 and 21 at the time; whether the FBI really deemed her ideas were reflected in parts of the movie, etc. -- that's another story.

She could very well be trying to play the race card - actually, she really is, as shown here in her statement:
daghettotymz.com...

And she could be trying to cash in on the success of the movies. But If she really did have a lot of the ideas that appeared in the movie, and they got them from her, I would be doing the same thing she is, at least legally (I'm just another white guy, just like the Wachoswki brothers).

That's wasup. The info. is on point.

I'm confused though; what does that name Zenia Kavala mean or represent?

I decided to look up "The Terminator"

Here's the Copyright information for the screenplay for The Terminator:

1. Registration Number: PAu-584-564
Title: Terminator / by James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd.
Description: 129 p.
Note: Screenplay.
Claimant: Hemdale Film Corporation
Created: 1983
Registered: 3Feb84
Author on © Application: Gale Anne Hurd, as employee for hire of Pacific Western Productions.
Special Codes: 3/D

So according to this, and I have no reason to believe that this is wrong the screenplay was created in 1983 and officially registered on February 3rd 1984. And the added pages to the Script were registered 3 days after this. This doesn't really add to the argument either way, I just thought it was interesting.

She is at best a psychologically disturbed young woman (and even that I think is probably not the truth). The case though does not exist at all. There is no case, there never was. The "Third Eye case" exists only in this internet world.

The below link claims to be Sofia's (aka Princes Weeshu's) website-

churchofthematrix.org...

edit:I hadn't actually looked at that site in awhile. "Princess Weeshu" has now removed all references to herself being Sofia Stewart. Now she says she is only posting the Stewart scripts and books for study. It used to be that Sofia Stewart/Princess Weeshu sold her scripts and books. Now she just asks for donations for the Church of the Matrix. How interesting.

from Sophia Stewart Website wrote:

Sophia Stewart and her Third Eye V. The Matrix and Terminator Trilogies. Before we begin this sermon, I would like to express a word of thanks to Sophia Stewart, the False Prophetess of Armageddon, for bringing to light the correlation between the Wachowski Brothers' Matrix Trilogy and James Cameron's The Terminator Trilogy. Now that we have been shown the way through the philosophies of Sophia Stewart's The Third Eye manuscript and its relation with the Matrix and Terminator franchises, it is quite easy to understand the Wachowski Brothers' divine reasoning in linking Matrix Revolutions and Matrix Reloaded with the Original Matrix 1.

What a bucket of horse shit, please are we ment to read this and believe it. f#$king hell.

Mryellow

scifi.com...:
As the editor of the various Matrix stories that have appeared on SCI FI Wire and in Science Fiction Weekly, I can say I have followed Ms. Stewart's lawsuit against the Wachowskis, Joel Silver, Warner Brothers and others closely. I'm not sure what the source of the various Internet reports are as to the suit's outcome—most likely a premature press release from Ms. Stewart herself—but I can assure you that the lawsuit is far from settled. The suit was filed in April 2003 and is moving through the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, Case No. 2:03-cv-02873-MMM-VBK, "Sophia Stewart v. Andy Wachowski et al," and is the courtroom of the honorable Margaret M. Morrow. Anyone with access to a computer can access the case documents and the official court docket through Pacer: pacer.psc.uscourts.gov, which is the official documents Web site of the U.S. courts. The suit's documents and docket are public record.

Through those documents, any disinterested reader can discover these facts: that the case remains in litigation, that a mediation session is scheduled for late May and that a tentative trial date has been set for July. The case remains in the usual pre-trial phase of motions, discovery, hearings, etc. You can read Ms. Stewart's formal complaint, as well as the various documents and rulings concerning the case. You will also see that the defendants in the case vigorously deny Ms. Stewart's allegations. And you will see that no final decision has been rendered and no settlement has been reached.

Moreover, I have spoken directly with Ms. Stewart's current attorney of record, Michael Thomas Stoller. He confirms that the case remains unresolved and that it continues to be litigated.

The bottom line is that there is no news to report yet concerning this case, which is far from "successful." Also, you should be cautioned about saying that the Wachowskis or Joel Silver did not create The Matrix or that they stole it from Sophia Stewart, unless you yourself have incontrovertible proof of that fact, because if you are wrong, you have libeled them and are subject to a lawsuit yourself. As always, the caution is: Don't believe everything you read on the Internet.

Googled Michael Thomas Stoller. As far as Google goes, there's no such guy. Pretty rare for a lawyer not to pop up on Google.

However, there is a Bryan Michael Stoller who was a film maker involved in a documentary about Michael Jackson. What's all the Jackson family obsession in this hoax about?

I think that the "real" Sofia Stewart has already received a slap on the wrist. That's why her churchofthematrix.org no longer is credited to the name Sofia Stewart and no longer offers to sell the Third Eye script but just offers it for free download.

They can't sue the Sofia Stewart mentioned in these forged court documents and what not because she doesn't exist. She's an internet urban legend.
