When they are debating whether to go back to the Logos because they realize Bane is on the ship with Neo and Trinity, why don't they just call the Logos on their radio?

Good question.

Because that would have ruined the suspense

Since Trinity and Neo are flying directly toward the Machine City, maybe those on the Hammer were afraid that broadcasting in the direction of the Logos would be picked up by the machines?

But when they figured out that Bane was on the Logos, Neo and Trin hadn't even taken off yet, had they?

I don't think it's clearly established. And either way, the Hammer is already heading away, so they may have feared sending a signal so far back towards the machines?

Neo and Trin didn't take off until they hade taken care of Bane, if I remember correctly. And they couldn't have made it that far from the Logos when they figured it out, could they?

And I don't think Morpheus would be ok with knowing that Bane was on the Logos and not let Neo and Trin know about it.

But still, it could be as you say, and if that's the case, they should have shown that in the movie, just a short clip where they say "we can't contact the Logos and warn them because blah blah..."

It could just be a little mistake, but anyway, who the hell cares haha! I'm surprised the critics didn't say anything about this! Or did they, and I just forgot about it?
