»Cypher and trinity?«

In the beginning of matrix I cypher talks to trinity and he says "we are going to kill him" (neo) ?? why what sense does that make??

I agree that it was disturbing, but after making the conclusions I wrote above, it began to make sense.

What disturbs me is how Morpheus called up Neo and said, "This line is tapped" and THEN says, "You are The One, Neo" over the tapped line. Some people have been using this as evidence that Morpheus is "in on it" (meaning that if there's a MWAM, then Morpheus is another program aware of the history that the Architect told Neo in RELOADED). But I don't think it means that. Obviously, it was a mistake. It wasn't in the '96 draft, though, which ticks me off 'cause that means that the Wachlowskis wrote that in the shooting script knowing that Morpheus was saying "You are The One" on the tapped line. Am I being too picky about this?

hmm i thought about that solution for a long time, the only thing in Matrix reloaded, most of the freed people are not so young.

Who said that they were all freed recently??

The only person we know that was freed recently was the Kid. The people in the Zion rave scene looked like they were in their 20's. Perhaps the age limit is 25 or something. Neo was 36 in the first film (his profile in the interrogation sequence says that he was born in 1962 and the beginning of THE MATRIX takes place in 1998).

Well, consider they have freed more minds in the last six month than the past 6 years...

The point is we don't know who was freed during those six months besides The Kid.

And still, most of the people, to me, in the Zion rave seemed younger than Neo and Trinity (as I said before, they looked like they were in their '20's and the age limit to free a mind could be 25-30. They never stated the age limit.) Those could be the other recently freed minds.

A good point. I guess the Star Wars influence has made me think of the age limit as the same as for a Jedi wannabes.

But it is just another question added to the list of things we will never know...
