The only thing that still has me confused is if the original Terminator came out in 1981 or so, then why did she file the lawsuit after the original Matrix came out in 1999? That's been the basis of my argument the entire time. If I could understand that then I could acknowledge that she was plagiairized.

A small amount of investigation yields the answers:

michronicle.com...

Also, try googling: sophia stewart, fbi "sophia stewart"

OK....
Ok....
Ok....
Did any of you guys watch the matrix revisited?
Did any of you guys watch the brothers talking?
Did any of you guys watch the brothers saying what writers and directors they like?
Did any of you guys watch silver, reeves and the others talking about the brothers?
Did any of you guys watch V for Vendetta?
Did any of you guys notice the huge and fundamental adjustments in it?
Did any of you guys read about the brothers' sexual interests?
Did any of you guys read how they used to watch movies when they were kids?
Did any of you guys read what the brothers think about Assassins?
Did any of you guys read the comic books they wrote?
Now, do you really think they are not really able to write something that illustrates all their thoughts in one film?
because i think if there is someone else who has all the things i mentioned, i really think that we would know!
And plus i THINK that the world knows the word JUSTICE, and i think if the brothers didn't really write the matrix, we all (THE WHOLE WORLD) will know....

But, Hey! that's just me.

well since I arrived lately I just want to say one thing about sophia, the washowski brothers from the begining they had inspired the ideas of the matrix from various books and philosophers .. etc.

well we had seen V for Venddeta which shows us that washowski bro. do realy have talent.

why this sophia stayed silent since the making of the TERMENIATOR why shut up all this years. and also matrix do look more like william gibson's story THE NEUROMANCER and the hint is there in matrix reloaded when they called the music of the car chase "Mona Lisa Overdrive" hinting to william gibson.

in addition there are alot of movies that have similar ideas to the matrix.

Ok, so sophia made the original movie

I WISH THIS HAD BEEN FINISHED BEFORE THE THIRD MOVIE!

we could have had a quality movie

but no...

1. - The third movie was pure quality. Cinematography, direction, conceptuals, yadda, yadda...

2. - Sophia isn't the only person writing science fiction. The Matrix is draws from works like Ghost In The Shell and 'Neuromancer'. The idea of machines taking over the world and an expectant human saviour is hardly something unque to the world of science fiction literature or cinema (remember, it's the same woman who accused Cameron of ripping off his Terminator frachise from that same frickin' book).

3. - Even if the Wachowskis did read this 'Third Eye', how the living fuck would that change anything in the final film? What planet are you living on?

In the final analysis, it really doesn't matter who wrote it. The ideas being expressed therein did NOT originate with the Bros. (or Stewart) and they sure didn't end with them.

btw. Did anyone who has chosen a "side" on this issue actually READ "The Third Eye", yet?
