In Revolutions, the Architect says concerning the freeing of the minds the following: "What do you think I am? Human?" Yet in Reloaded, the Merovingian clearly lies to Persephone about going to the bathroom. So what gives?

Maybe he didn't lie, maybe he just didn't tell the whole truth.

He is asked where he is going, to which he replies with, "Please, ma chérie, I've told you, we are all victims of causality. I drink too much wine, I must take a piss. Cause and effect. Au revoir."

He doesn't say that he is going to the men's room, we just assume that. (we find out later that he didn't go to the men's room) In fact he never says exactly where he is going or what he will do. He simply says that he must take a piss (and that might not be a lie), he could have done that before everything else happened..he just kinda failed to mention that part.

But then again, he wasn't asked what he is going to go do, he is just asked where he is going, and he answers with "i have to take a piss." He didn't say, "I am going to the mens room to take a piss." So he kinda avoided her question but made it sound like he answered.

heheh. human is just a despective term for them, it's like if a nasci called another one a jew. it's just an adjective, programs can have human-like qualities. it's just not nice to call someone human, specially the achitect who is all math and perfection.

Perhaps the cake girl went into the bathroom with Merv....But before she could give him you know what, he had to take a pee....
