»What's so special about Neo?«

In Matrix 1, when Neo visits the Oracle, he sees a couple creepy little kids. One is spoon boy, and the other is a girl who can make blocks float around.

My question is, other than his super healing powers and ability to kick agents' asses, what makes Neo so special. Isn't his ability to fly and stop bullets not all that different from the childrens' telekinetic powers, just trumped up a little bit?

The reason that The Oracle chooses him is that Morpheus brings him. She has already told him that he would find The One, so she must choose from whoever Morpheus chooses.

The reason Morpheus finds Neo is more obscure.
