I was randomly thinking the other day and it hit me that the people of zion could end the war sooner than they thought. if the people of zion had everyone in the matrix killed, then what would be the power source for the machines? sure it sounds evil, but for the assurance that free humans can live safely forever, i think it's worth it.

And if this is a possibility, then the machines must have founds ways to prevent it, which means they could live without the humans, or the machines dont actually need the humans for energy. just something to think about I guess if the free humans really wanted to live.

i personally dont think the "humans" are human anyway, but i wont go into that.

THe chancellor tells Neo:
"This machines are keeping us alive, while other machines are coming to kill us"
Machines could say:
"Humans are keeping us alive, while other humans are coming to kill us"

IF SO

The matter is CONTROL.

Keep in mind:
Neo did what the Architech wanted him to do. ( like the oracle, he's telling Neo what he needs to hear to perform his duty)
He said: "Your 5 predecessors were, by design, based on a SIMILAR predication - a CONTINGENT affirmation...facilitating the function of the One"

I think he's saying that Neo's predecessor were desgined (if Neo is HUMAN then HIS PATH was designed) on SIMILAR, but DIFFERENT Predication. A condition that is likely to happen but not inevitable, contradicting what Smith has been saying all along. Finally the Machines are fessing up they have don't have ABSOLUTE control, except offering the Humans CHOICES which is WHY a majority of humans accept the program matrix.

HOWEVER

I think Neo just pulled a Buddha trick here. As we know the Buddha was tempted 3 times.

1st TEMPTATION
FEAR: The armies approaced the Buddha and attcked him with darts, but the darts turned into flowers and fell to the floor before reaching him.
MATRIX: Neo stops the bullets and sentinels overcoming his temptation of fear (Morpheus: "When yuu're ready, you wont have to [Dodge Bullets]"

2nd TEMPTATION
SOCIAL DUTY: One of the gods tell the Buddha that he is a prince, so he has an obligation to society to become king and govern his kingdom.
MATRIX: Neo is told by the oracle he has the SOCIAL DUTY to save humanity, but he chooses his own path which leads him to enlightment.

3rd TEMPTATION
LUST: One of the gods brings out his beautiful daugthers to "seduce" or make the Buddha feel attachment and or desire for them, but when they fall asleep they endup in not so 'lady-like' or 'classy' poses, so the Buddha looks upon them as corpses and he's not seduced.
MATRIX: This is not reflected on the Matrix, but it might be at one point, rember this doesn't always mean SEX, but could also simply mean desire for the physical.

IT IS POSSIBLE AT THE END MACHINE and HUMAN will become ONE

If Neo does separate his mind from his body, then HOW is he different from programs. Remember programs ALSO have a CHOICE they can chose exile or face delition.
