Given that Neo is between the Matrix and the Real World, is there any importance to Neo having on different clothes than the secular ones he wore in Reloaded and at the end of Revolutions?

Never thought about it though...

But I don't think there's any significance behind it.

It could be to illistrate that he is in a completely different place to the real or the matrix, and because he isnt in the matrix he wouldnt have his residual self image --> (or whatever that thing is morpheus tells him bout in the construct in M1)

I could see that, but at the same time once he's removed from Mobile Ave. and taken to the Matrix, where he meets the Oracle, he is wearing those same clothes. And it's interesting tha everytime he's met the Oracle he has been wearing something different every time.
