I tried to link my pics from that place :

matrix-explained.com...

I did as explained, I put the link above and the **.jpg one (anyway I could not know where the jpg was). But it does not show anything, what's the link for the pic I must paste ?

Neo:"there is no spoon"
Merovingian:"there is no lipstick!"

It is already correct

Is the correct link. Actually this is the only way how I want the pics to be. That way users are linked to the extended pic portal with comments and ratings

Seeing the pic in the post was always possible but never the right way to do it.

Sure, technically you can by surrounding the pic's URL with [ img ] and [ /img ], but that is bad manners. Nice to look at but bad manners. For this forum I wanted a central pic area (

matrix-explained.com...
). For the other forum, I run a special modified forum software, thus you can attach pics and movies directly to your post, examples:
in-my-opinion.org...

But I tried the [img] and it didn't work.

Look, I do it here :

Click and double-click to resize image

Sure it doesn't work, it must be an URL to a pic, not to a page.

A pic url ends with .jpg or .gif

but on the posting page, you said yourself that we'd beter not link it to a *.jpg page !
You gave the example yourself on how to link the pic and moreover, it used to work before.
And how can I know the exact url of the jpg page ?

Yes, that is exactly what I am telling you now in this thread. Do NOT link with the [ url ] tags and the .jpg ending.

INSTEAD:

Simply insert the pic URL into your post as

matrix-explained.com...

That's it. I never wanted it another way and I didn't change the forum's behaviour since months.

Click and double-click to resize image

You're doing it on purpose, right ? U just said no to put the jpg !
Before, it worked even without the URL.jpg link. I repeat my question : "And how can I know the exact url of the jpg page ?"

That's the URL in the browser's input field. Where is the problem?

Just insert that url into your post. It should start with
"www.matrix-explained.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo="
