Yes inside the train that's true, but on top of it, you also have the wind pushing against you to add to the effect, which in that case, would blow anybody off the top if they were'nt holding on to anything.

They jump around on a train (a train for goodness sake!) in Spider Man 2. Isn't this less realistic than the matrix chase? In the matrix, after all, we know they are breaking physical laws, but in Spider Man 2 they simply have super strength.

yes, with the keymaker, I don't think he has the ability of the agent or Morpheus to break the rules of physics. As he said," we only do what we're ment to do" and I don't think he was meant for staying on top of a semi and 60+ mph.

I love Spider-man but Matrix is an all different class movie, Spidey is pure entertainment and people will forget it, passed the marketing effect.

Um.... this scene on the lorry in the highway chase has so far been compared to Mission Impossible and Teen Wolf. What is so wrong with adding Spider Man 2 to the mix?

What I was saying is that there is nothing strange about the fight scene taking place on the lorry. It is certainly possible to stand and even walk on a lorry as it moves along. Jumping would be harder, but with Morpheus' super strength (he broke handcuffs in M1), and acute balance (trinity could run up a wall in M1 so I'm sure Morpheus can do the same) it might be possible.

I agree with hbedrix. Morpheus is indeed traveling at the same speed as the truck. But what's also true, is that the wind offers some resistance against Morpheus, thus making him deccelerate. I've never tried this, so I don't know how this would work out. I'll try to find some info from my physics department at college, and get back to you.

I the meantime, I'll have to move this topic to the chit-chat forum. I'll leave a shadow topic for a while.
