Don't you guys think it would have been cool if there was some kind of reference or something of cypher in m2 or m3? I mean within the matrix the agents were the enemy but what they didn't know is that there was another badguy in the real world. that made the movie interesting. I know the real world badguy in 2 and 3 was bane(smith) but still.

Well it is not relevant to your question but I just want you to know that Agents knew Cypher was a bad guy in real world;) Smith negotiated with him personally

I personally don't think there is need for bad guys in the real world. Movie is primarily about war between humans and machines...not a soap opera.

they do kkkinda have a reference to cypher, when they mention doser, who was killed by cypher, its a microscopic reference, but what the hey. anyway, my opinion on cypher is he was a total ****head. i never liked him. he was stupid. he was the bad guy. yes, it made the story more interesting, but i just never liked him as a human badguy. hell, even Bane was a better human badguy then cypher, and he wasnt exactly human, whcih made it cool.
