I never claimed it was a new court order, merely that the of revealing of it is fairly new (as far as that website, and myself, is concerned).

And granted – I am a new poster, and that it is hard to believe my intentions are not nefarious, that I happen to post at this time. Look, all I’m thinking right now (as a random new poster to your board), is that if this is a hoax or attempt to cash-in on the success of a stunning cinematic endeavour, someone has gone to an extreme length.

If I have erred, I apologise, and may the thread (and my name) sink away into oblivion.

I have some questions though. When it comes to copyrights isn't it 70 years before anyone can legally take whats yours and use it? Even after that you can still be sued depending on if your kin finds out about it right?

Now with this process that means the case isn't done from the above documents. That means its still "pending" meaning that the case was not thrown out the window. If she is still talking about taking the brothers to court and that she has to provide substantial evidence in order for it to stick. The Book is substantial evidence and that means she has one more place to take this. SUPREME COURT.. sorry, if it seemed like i was yelling but im not.. Just trying to peak some thoughts on this. The person who posted that link though wasn't me.. I heard about the allegations a long time ago, but didn't bother coming onto this thread until last week. So I don't know who that is.

To tell you the truth..

I can't understand why there are people that support her? I haven't find any proof that she might be the writer of the Matrix Trilogy.

If you found something share it with us.

She says that in 1999 users downloaded "the Matrix" and what they saw was so much different than the theatrical version..

In 1999 pirate movie downloads weren't popular.. The P2P networks were.... was.... only Napster! And people were sharing mp3s not movies!

If such a version existed we would definetely find it!

May I share this? IN a lot of neighborhoods, bootlegs run throughout the communities. I mean I have friends who have many bootlegs. So your statement in a way was kinda biased but reasonable. Bootlegs still exist and pirating movies exist. I mean I can get a good movie for 5 bucks on my campus that someone bootlegged.. LOL

Da King, the case is done. It was dismissed by the Judge.

And normally the Supreme Court hears appeals from cases that have already been through the lower tiers of the judicial system, or first-time cases that have "universal" (more properly, "national") import on case law. This one doesn't.

If Sophia Stewart actually had evidence, she had her chance to submit it. She didn't. Her "book" is NOT substantial evidence based on her word alone. She had the chance to prove it in Court and blew it. And based on the fact that she's supposedly a paralegal and therefore conversant with the rules of the court system, she has little excuse for failing to comply with something as mundane as time deadlines.

But then, she was probably too busy being an oracle and goddess to bother her head with trivial details. sophiastewart.unn13.com... Screwy

I can’t really understand why people support her either, to be honest. From what I have seen of her writing, she’s ‘off centre’. But hey, I could be wrong. And yes, your argument about the alternate version sounds, to put it moderately, that she is off the wall (i.e. she’s a ‘off centre’). I consider myself a fan, and have never seen this alternate version (she is however offering one million dollars for a copy of it). In the end, I actually don’t care where The Matrix ‘comes from’ – and yes, I’m sure I will be flamed for that statement. I’m just after the truth – and the thing that bugged me is that her case was dismissed as complete balderdash by the community. I want to know.

Suppose it’s all irrelevant. Just wanted to know, guys – my apologies again.

I didn't say that pirating doesn't exist! She said that people DOWNLOADED the movie back in 1999 before it came out. And what I'm asking you is from where did they download it? P2P programs for movies did not existed! From some warez ftp? I don't think so.. Was the movie compressed to make the file smaller in size? What compression? Divx / Xvid didn't exist!

I think the misconception is that people think our non existant oracle is claiming to have written the matrix. But what she was actually sueing for was that the matrix was based on her idea.

And that the matrix characters have parrels to her non existant book the third eye. However it is true that the wachows had bought some work for comics they were working on.

Neo= Icon
Trinity= Trifawney

oracle=old hag

etc. Also she claims she works on the subliminal and her story runs front to back and vica versa.

Personally I think the wachows are behind her franchise away of keep the matrix alive. And that Larry is infact her now after his sexchange LOL

If that is the case, and the Wachowskis are indeed behind this campaign – I applaud them, and thank them for peeling away yet another layer of illusion. Going so far as to create a fictional co-author – Hannilie Zulu – was nothing short of a coup in marketing.

No need to applaud they were only doing what they were meant to do...
