I ask that you bring your attention to what will be deemed "The Case of the Century!"
As The Mother of The Matrix and Terminator trilogies, Sophia Stewart, embarks on her worldwide campaign to inform the masses of her mega-million lawsuit against the pirates (the Wachowski Brothers, Warner Bros, 20th Century Fox, Hemdale Films, Joel Silver and James Cameron) who stole The Matrix and Terminator movies from her original script, The Third Eye, we are calling all truth seekerz to bear witness!

But, one thing is funny:

The name Sophia - we know to what it is linked, because many Gnostic refferences were given all along these topic pages..

OH... Okay. Now I understand why she's making such a great fuss.

At the great (and terrible) risk of sounding racist (which I am NOT even remotely), the fact that Miss Stewart is Black explains much; like the fact that she's pushing so very hard to get this through, even though none of the evidence (that I've seen, anyway) is really in her favor. A Black writer stands to lose much by being plagiarized, and much more by backing down from a battle such as this, ESPECIALLY if she's only digging for gold (no accusation intended).

Personally, I never placed much stock in her argument; it's like that crazy lady claiming she invented Harry Potter because she wrote a children's book with the character of Larry Potter, or some tripe like that. Just because you have an idea before someone else does, doesn't give you the right to demand anything if they capitalize on that idea before you do. In the end, it doesn't really matter if the chicken or the egg came first; you've still got breakfast. (apologies to the vegetarians)

this is stupid. I actually took the time to have an open mind and read one of her PDF's, and she turns it into a racial statement against white media not giving her the time of day cuz she's black.

um okay? Turn to UPN, every other show on there has an all black cast, you think paramount would turn you away cuz you're black? Nope, it must be for some other reason, possibly because you're whiny.

I don't get it. She already cited her evidence, and I think she won too. Which PDF did you read to see that she wasn't credible in her claim?

I could be wrong but I don't see her evidence as very credible. She had claimed to write or have the original matrix script and came out with a lawsuit after the orginal matrix. If she wrote both scripts to the matrix and terminator, why would she have not had a lawsuit set in the early '80's when the original terminator movie came out? Yet, after these films have great success she claims to be the true author of these scripts. So if these movies had been complete failures I assume she would not have said anything? I tried to be objective but I can't see her having a case.

SOPHIA STEWART TAKES ON HOLLYWOOD TYCOONS:

On Monday September 27, 2004 attorney’s representing screenplay writer Sophia Stewart of Salt Lake City, Utah, appeared in The United States District Court of Los Angeles, California in a lawsuit against defendants Warner Brothers, Joel Silver, Andy and Larry Wachowski. This case has been defined as one of the largest suits for damages, in the history of the film industry.

The defendants are being sued for the recreation, redevelopment, promotion, reproduction, proliferation, distribution, and disbursement throughout the United States of America and abroad to third world countries, for the movie the “Matrix”.

Allegedly the defendants cut, removed and, or destroyed from the original production of the movie motion picture, more than thirty (30) minutes of the movie, and the introduction. In an attempt to avoid both civil and criminal penalties for Copyright Infringement from Stewart's 45 page Epic Science Fiction Manuscript entitled The Third Eye which copyrights date back as far as 1981, as noticed and acknowledged by an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. During the F.B.I investigation,credible witnesses employed at Warner Brothers came forward claiming that the executives and lawyers had full knowledge that the work in question did not belong to the Wachowski brothers. The witnesses also added that the original work of Stewart had been seen, and often used during preparation of the motion pictures.

During Monday’s Court proceedings, United States District Judge Margaret Morrow ruled on several motions made by defendants Warner Brothers, Joel Silver,Andy and LarryWachowski in theirattempt to get the suits against them dismissed. But based on the evidence presented during the hearing by Ms. Stewart’s and her attorney’s Jonathan W. Lubell, Gary S. Brown and Dean Browning Web they successfully defended against, Motions to Dismiss of her copyright infringement lawsuit against the industry giants.

The investigation held by the F.B.I not only establish Stewart as the writer of the movie “The Matrix” but also surprisingly “The Terminator.

It is reported that since the release of the movies The Terminator and the Matrix including the sequels a gross of over 2.5 Billion Dollars was raked in by Warner Brothers, Joel Silver, Andy and Larry Wachowski while the allege creator as we know it now Sophia Stuart never got a cent.

ok, I would never beleive that Larry & Andy didn't make the Matrix. Not to seem racist (which I also am not) but Sophia's story is grade A tripe.
Even if Larry/Andy stole the original script, they did most of the work. There are hundreds of screenplay tiles in the warner bro's archives. Now, who has a history for making comics, which the screenplays where based on? the Wakasowi's (I suk at speeling) do

Does it matter? Ask annaerullo. That is the person that mentioned the color of a person initially. Since it was brought into the conversation the only way for me to not be confused about "what" I'm talking to is to find out who all the white people are.

I have read some pages from her script and it is more a fantasy story then anything else and the only thing resembling the matrix is that the hero is called the one and wears black and no other movie hero has ever worn black right. Maybe she should take jet li to court I mean he has done a movie called the one and don't be surprised if she comes to your house and demands you give her money for being on a matrix forum because without her there would be no matrix forums. And maybe the W's did borrow some of her ideas like they borrowed ideas from a lot of places, so what, no one else has complained. And why does she say that this is a race issue. And why does she have such a hard time understanding reloaded and revolutions if it is all her idea. She said that rel and rev were just action, that they were like cartoons so that shows how much she knows. And why doesen't she put the whole script on the internet for everyone to read. I would like to read it and compare it the matrix script. Even carrie ann moss has been called a criminal because someone associated with sophia claimed that carrie ann moss came up with the idea to call the movie the matrix and she also came up with the idea that it should take place in a virtual world, she did that so that she could get a part in the movie That is so stupid it's unbelivable.

Thats the biggest joke when they say she came up withthe name, the Screenplay was copywrited in 94' if I recall and they didn't even know her yet. I could be wrong. She was in Models Inc at that time if I recall . But when you see her in alot of the interviews, she is totally clueless to the tech and the sci-fi element. She is afraid of guns for petes sake. She is really a soft sweet girl. She only seems tuff. She has good acting chops plus many other nice attributes. Just becuase she was in a tv show called Matrix has nothing to do with it, it was the Main Stars Name. lol

how about more than 30 minutes was edited out because the directors didnt like it? i know, thats really unheard of, right?

the footage was cut before the release of the film. but the thing that a lot of people dont seem to think about is that...name ONE film that has been made that has not had footage edited out before its release. it happens all the time. so what it was destroyed? there are a ton of films out there that have had portions edited out and destroyed before the films release. that doesnt prove anything. parts get taken out, re-shot to the directors liking, or just thrown out all together in every movie.

she claims that there are dvds in europe floating around with the edited out scenes on them. why not bring them over for evidence? the answer: because there are no dvds in europe (or anywhere) that have the deleted scenes on them...it seems as though that story was made up.

it seems weird now that a film could delete portions out and destroy them, because almost everything that is released on dvd now has an added feature on the disc: "deleted scenes". that feature has not always been around.

so how about, the directors found parts of the film that they didnt really like, they edited them out, found no reason to hold on to them, and destroyed them? sounds unusal, doesnt it? i mean, whenever i clean up my apartment, i save all my trash!

sounds to me like they were trying to hide something...hmm, if thats the case, why did they put it in the movie in the first place?

Well if you hear her interview, she says in it, that they had released it, and then got scared and then recalled the film. so they could send out a cut version. Which like I said is a bunch of B.S. lol

(I don't like the term 'African American.' Consider a person born in, say, South Africa, to white American citizens.... Would she be called an African American? She should, but she is not.)

My life has taken me many places, including government subsidized housing developments, which could easily be called 'the projects,' or 'the ghetto,' among other names, depending on your mood or prejudice. It breaks my heart that, when I mentioned this to a woman I worked with who happened to consider herself an African American, my innocent comment was considered 'racist' by the white management, and I was fired. Even if the population isn't entirely convinced, I believe the lawmakers (even the good ol' boys and girls of the white South) know what is on the line if such a precedent is set.
