I'll start off by saying even though this is my 1st post, i've been at the forum here since maybe february or march 2004 reading most posts. (i dunno if that doesn't make me a n00b Cool )

Anyways, I thought revolutions was really good (not as good as 1st 2). A lot of people here are bashing on it more than just accepting it and liking it. i know it didn't answer all of the questions and all that crap but i still thought it was great and satisfied me at the most

I'll just state one of my opinions on the revolutions.

The Final Battle Scene (why was only one smith fighting neo?)
That would have to be my favorite scene ever in any movie. I thought most of it was awesome and very dramatic, the music, dialogue, scenery and not a lot but some new fighting sequences

Pretty much every1 knows by this time that neo is going to die, trinity, morpheous, smith ("oracle smith" sees it), the machines, even neo knows it. It wouldn't matter if just 1 smith fought him.
I also think it was cooler that way than every human being in the matrix fighting neo.

I had some more stuff but i forgot it for now, heh sry, guess i should have wrote it down or something. ill write some more as i remember.

think im right, wrong?

dang, i had some good stuff too, lol

Orphan: There is no spoon
Neo: How in the hell am i supposed to eat my yogurt now
Orphan: Try Gogurt?
Neo punches the kid and steals his spoons

i know how that feels, forgetting somethin when its reeal good, lol. i dont think your a noob, i know i am, just got here today, and im already at home, lol. but revolutions wasnt that affective or surprising for me, basically cuz of the fact that i read alot of spoilers(okok so im a little impulsive, lol, but i just HAD to know, and i wasnt as big a fan for the matrix as i am now). the final smith/neo showdown was so incredible, i too think it was one of the best fight scenes in the whole trilogy, i dont mind the fact at all that cgi was heavily involved, i just look at it as, well, the Matrix is a computer system, so using alot of cgi isnt that unimaginable in the matrix movies that is. For LOTR's, i dont really ever want to see alot of cgi, but they definetly used it wisely there (no wonder it one all the academy awards, should have been for the WHOLE trilogy, not just the one movie). im surprised that the matrix movies werent nominated for a special effects award for the oscars, but i could understand why the first Matrix and its bullet time won the oscars.noone had ever seen anything like that before, it was tottally new to us, exactly why we LOVED it, lol. in the sequels, we just see alot of overblown(and in my opinion GREAT) cgi, and it seems the academy has seen this kind of work before, but i think matrix did the best job, well maybe not as great as ROTK, but definetly comes in second, as both movie trilogy and story depth.

Story depth? Not really. Great films, definately, but not too endowed in the plot department. Take the second one for example: Most of the film is spent looking for a keymaker to "open a door", and then last 20 (ish) minutes is spent trying to cram as many twists etc in. "Neo is the sixth one!" "Oh noez! Zion is an outlet for the Matrix!" "Neo is gonna stop teh machines wiv his mind KAPOW!" Felt like Dehydrating then Drowning.

Dropping a load of religious symbolism and word play at random parts hardly constitutes as plot depth, neither does hints which fans pounce on and make elaborate theories about.

Yes, I agree it WAS dramatic. And I have no clue as to why there was only one Smith fighting him [I guess they gave that part away already in M2]. Plus it did look cool, seeing all of those smiths lining the walls [or buildings]. But it was really odd seing Smith fly. I wish that scene had more action in it, like Neo ripping a slab of road and hurtling it at Smith, things like that.

Always the lord of the matrix info. Very Happy Not really, but i do have a website, check it out! Wink
