»The Film "I, Robot"«

Is it just me or is the film "I, Robot" at all linked to the matrix
Evidence points:
- The film is about robots killing humans then trying to take over
- The trailer has the same music as matrix3 fight at the end when neo and smith fight

any thoughts

it also has music from the animatrix in the trailer. the movie also reminds me of BI-66er. the robot who killed the family in the animatrix. its just will smith wishing he was neo!

and will smith was almost neo, but the brothers wouldn't have that

has anyone read the book I, Robot? i havn't so i don't know how closely the movie follows the book

im guessing its close enough! but really they wouldnt of done that movie if it wasnt for the success of the matrix. i mean matrix spanwed tons of AI movies. its crazy

The movie bares no resemblance to Asimov's book, this thing might be a great action film but it's a bastardisation of his work.

so its more like the second renassaince?

I dont know untill i see it but i can safely say that it bares no relation to Asimov's work except by name.

nice i canty wait to tell my friend that! he said the matrix copied that book....
