Besides personally have a grudge against the current version of the matrix, which was created after what was most likely his "hell" version failed... his hate for the oracle and the one seems plain to see. However, I don't think he is after a system crash... after all... it is the agents who come closest to killing the keymaker. The agents... the ones who are part of the system... working for archy? yea those guys. It is all a game... The one has never been killed before, this seems to be a fact. This being true... obvoiusly has not prevented many from trying to kill it, and prevent it. So... perhaps killing the one, or even preventing the meeting does not neccessarily equal a collapse... remember that this meeting is the last contingency. Up untill that moment they are activly tryingn to solve/stop the anomaly in all ways possible... in my opinion. While it could lead to a collapse, considering all the guys who have either been around (Merv) or are part of the machine world (agents) don't seem worried that this would be the result... which suggests to me that it in all probability would not be the result.

Oh... and I think the merv would rather see the keymaker dead then in the hands of Zion. However the agents want him dead all together, and make him their top priority.

There are no anwsers, only choices.

Whose version was this?

The one track minded Arc made a "perfect" matrix once. When it didn't work, he took it to the other extreme as if there was no in-between ground. When that didn't work, someone clued him in about "choices" which doesn't make sense to him.

After all he's perfect and so is his worldview. Who would ever "choose" to disagree with it? So he labels all that do "an anomaly". So maybe each time a ONE goes through the path and Zion is destroyed, Arc learns a bit more about what other options are out there that he gave no previous consideration for. Oh, and more screens get installed in his office. Hehe.

Sorry, I didn't intend to really say that he made the hell version... just that it seemed to suit him, and that his power probably swelled during that version... but of course that's all just me making stuff up in my head... so... yea lol.
