Wouldn't it be cool if we made our own Matrix Explained book? We can have frequent posters like Akshat Gupta, Fatpie42, Another Smith or even myself, write their own analysis on the trilogy. I have so many different ideas right now for the book, but I would like to see if I have a positive response first.

Comments please!

Unfortunately no one can be told what The Matrix is...You have to see it for yourself.

Scenario: I (pawnatron) am walking downtown. The I decide to go to the local Nerd shop. And I take the bus there. Then when I come I step inside and take a look around. I see they have the new Family guy DVD and some AVP magazines. And just when I am about to leave I see a new matrix book called ''The matrix-explained book''....

....and I buy it and I read it and I will be very glad. Thumbup

So I think this would be a great Idea, and maybe take some of the questions that have been posted here and see if there was a conclusion in the discussion and write it down, in the book....

That would be so awesome!

I wouldn't actually mind doing that, unless I have to get off my ass.

Seriously can we do that though?

I don't understand why you suggest an Own Book, while

dictionary-of-matrix.com...
is EXACTLY this.

in-my-opinion.org...

ebooks-download.com...

What exactly is it?

How does it work?

ANYONE can edit it? How does that work? Anyone can put some BS there.

Shouldn't there be any moderators?

Can someone explain this to me?

Wow is this yours too Knnknn? I hadn't seen this before!

I notice that it has links to this forum so I am presuming either it is your site or you know the person who runs it well....

Why don't you put a link to it in the menu bar?

Sheeesh Evilredeyes

Sometimes something is sooo good that you have to convince others to use it, it seems.
Comicthink

1) YES everybody can write BS there.
BUT: Moderator alert
a) Everybody can delete everybody's BS (= everybody is a moderator)
b) for every little change there is a history log, so we know who did what

2) Yes, this is also my site, and as you can see from the "style", it copies

matrix-explained.com...

3) Please go to
wikipedia.org...
to see for yourself that this concept (= everyone is a moderator) works.

And, by god, go to
dictionary-of-matrix.com...

click on "Edit this page" and see for yourself.

I know what the Encyclopedia you made is. (Actually, I think I was the first one to comment about it on this forum) But it isn't a bit as cool as an actual printed book with real pages and ink. Plus, the satisfaction each of us will have to carry out something like this.

Anyway, I don't want to make an Encyclopedia. It's more like a book with our interpretations on the three movies.

What is wrong with compiling an encyclopedia?

I think it's pretty cool and I've been on the site adding to it...

Comon you lazy lot...Get over there and start adding your bits and bobs to it.

Cool

Having a book is just much more fun...I mean, I found Dantes Inferno on the net but it was more fun to buy it. Something you can allways grab to and read....just more...fun.

It' like being able to see the ''Mona Lisa'' painting on the net but it would be far better to have the picture it self in your living room.
