I'm not sure if I did understand well this part of your opinion, but i asked myself something. If, in fact, the end of matrix 1 could play in the end of matrix revolution, then, possibly, the matrix could be destroyed. Why return to the matrix, where they were blinded by a program, when they can rebuild the earth to it's most beautiful ground ? Sure, I don't know the ending of the matrix revolution, but i would feel angry if the wachosky brothers let the machine win. They could also do like Star Wars and make 3 new movies to restart the matrix again with new theory. That's my opinion, consider it as you want !!!

For Neo to release the billions of humans plugged into the Matrix before the world can be made ready for them would be tantamount to murder. The Matrix will go on, but with a new leadership and understanding of the intertwined relationship between Man and Machine.

as most people have come to know. the matrix will exist after the series... Matrix Online pc game proves this so. also i believe they should leave the movies where they finished them. id hate to see any graphic novels or tv series. plus i dont think they whould sell out like that, well... PowerAid... but thats different.
