Could you imagine instead of sitting in front of a 19 inch tv, you experience the game in person. This will be cool for games like Zelda. How about a real life Grand theft auto where u can do it for real but not go to jail. (Definition of real in this case: the electrical signal interpreted by your brain) It would be so cool. People would be deadly obsessed over it. The most ironic game would be enter the matrix… lets see u obeyed the title yea. People would have to buy like 120GB game packs because the games have to have temperature, touch and smells. This document would probably turn out to be like 110 kilobytes.. a lot of information… but the game would be over 10000 times the size of this document. Like all other technologies, these matrix gaming systems would cost in the thousands. They would be like HDTV is now. It is the next frontier in Artificial Reality or VR. I very much am doubtful about the machines taking over the world then turning the sky black

Ways of jacking in

Plug-in Method- This method is similar to how they do it in the matrix.

Upload method- Teleportation works by saving someone to a file, transporting it through high speed data lines, then rewriting you as physical matter. What if in the middle of that, instead of sending at to a “matter printer” it get saved to a server from where the matrix is. They are plugged in a way, but they are a program.

I wonder if ever some way of jacking ourselves into a game so it is like we are really standing in the game world ever comes about, by then i think games will be many generations above what we see now, maybe even so lifelike we cant tell the difference. the problem we would face with this is similar to the 'body cant live without the mind' in the Matrix. Imagine a truck coming at you, you are telling yourself that it is'nt real but you have an eliment of doubt because it looks so real. When it hits you maybe your mind cant differenciate between whats real and fake and you literally die because your mind could'nt take it!

Ah so the myth that if you die in your dream you die in real life isnt true at all! I have NEVER had a dream were i am near death, it's mostly about being traped or chased. And on odd ocasions, meeting people who are long gone out of my life.

Well thats my therapy for the day. Whitelaugh
