I think my favorite speech has to be the one in Reloaded with the Oracle and Neo, and the Oracle explaining how "you're not here to make a choice, you're here to understand why you made it...". I think it explains a whole deal of what is supposed to be understood in the trilogy.

Revolution is the birth of equality and the antithesis to oppression...

hands down the best one is in M2 when morpheus is saying to niobe that she shoudl have faith. here's one of the lines to jog your memory.

"What if tomorrow the war could be over. Isn't that worth fighting for? isn't that worth dying for?"

Morpheus said it to a totally baffled clueless neo in the first of the series.

One of the things I liked about the Matrix is how neo, the hero, the one, the saviour basically assumed the posture of a baffled clueless guy right up to the end. The more he knew, the more he knew he didn't know, the more humble he was....

My favorite quote is the one of Morpheus to the people of Zion in part II.

Quote:

Zion, hear me! It is true, what many of you have heard. The machines have gathered an army and as I speak, that army is drawing nearer to our home. Believe me when I say we have a difficult time ahead of us. But if we are to be prepared for it, we must first shed our fear of it. I stand here, before you now, truthfully unafraid. Why? Because I believe something you do not? No, I stand here without fear because I remember. I remember that I am here not because of the path that lies before me but because of the path that lies behind me. I remember that for 100 years we have fought these machines. I remember that for 100 years they have sent their armies to destroy us, and after a century of war I remember that which matters most...We are still here! Today, let us send a message to that army. Tonight, let us shake this cave. Tonight, let us tremble these halls of earth, steel, and stone, let us be heard from red tar to black sky. Tonight, let us make them remember, this is Zion and we are not afraid.
It gives us hope!

THIS IS ZION AND WE ARE NOT AFRAID!!!

Well that's just boring. We want to know what your FAVOURITE is. We don't care if you like them all, we want to know which one is YOUR favourite.

Did a certain speech stir you and make you feel a certain way? Which one stands out most for you? There's got to be one that had a certain resonance for you, right?

neo tellin trinity and tank (or was it dozer) that he has to go back into the matrix to rescue morpheus. the music had a heroic, patrotic tinge to it.

OMG THAT IS SO FUUNNY! lol, btw, i know what that peanut butter and jelly thing is, its just this funny little thing, they even have a movie thing, and there's an actually song to it! it sounds like chris rock, its so funny! its been around for a long time, i think. Anyway....

my favorite speech is everything morpheus says in the "construct" in the first Martrix, including the history of the "real world", about the agents, and while fighting kung fu, i think thats all kinda interconnected as a speech, cuz hes still teaching Neo the whole time. Oh yeah, the "jump program" was also part of that too.
