For me its the end, it could have ended with the Architect saying "what do you think i am, human?"
Instead we get the Oracle saying she "believed" repeated and going off with a cheesy smile. - with ofcourse more references to Christ [will we ever see him again? I expect so, one day]

That kinda weakened the ending for me

From the very beginning of the saga, Neo is trying to define and redefine his existence. Trying to gain control, trying to gain a sense of power over the cosmic forces of causality and fatalism, trying to rise above faith and belief. What I love is that even a computerised puppetmaster like the Oracle is functioning on the system of some tennet of belief and hope to see her through the most dangerous times.

I found that thematically very powerful.

Oh well, can't please everyone I guess. I thought it was bloody spectcular and quite mysterious. Perfectly pitched, methinks.

The stupidest moment is Trinity's death scene. Bad script, bad dialogues, bad acting. It just comes all together.

Most of the other key dialogues are excellent, they are pollished, with every single world being choosen very carefully. But this key scene just plashs along... it seems the brothers did not know what do write and how the actors should act.

It is the same with all the love scenes in the trilogy. They are not worked out very well.

But especially this last love scene is silly. It makes me wanting to step into this scene and kill Trinity myself just to make her shut up and to let Neo continue his path.
