[Matrix Reloaded]
Niobe: "What if all this - the prophecy, everything - is bullshit?"
Morpheus: "Then tomorrow we may all be dead, but how would that be different from any other day? This is a war, and we are soldiers. Death can come for us at any time, in any place..."
Morpheus: "Now consider the alternative. What if I am right? What if the prophecy is true? What if tomorrow the war could be over. Isn't that worth fighting for? Isn't that worth dying for?"

So was the matrix stolen from that crazy lady who is now sueing them for supposidly ripping off her "the 3rd eye" story. SURVEY SAYS X(X stands for wrong like in family fued)

Ok i read the parts of her "story" the watchowskis did not not steal a thing from her. but SHE sure did steal something. Her ideas are not original. They are from the book of revalation. The bible. she took almost exact words from the bible and put them in her lame story. That makes me very angry. How dare she sue over that. Read the book of Revelation.

Quote:

The pain of childbirth made her cry out....morning star hear her cries and stood at the edge of the bed waiting to take her child and destroy it....when morning stars chance left him he purseud the woman the woman fled to the desert. where she was taken care of for 3 and one half years.
HM sounds quit familiar to me here tell me what you think about this

Quote:

Revelation 12:1-6
A great and wonderous sign appeared in heavem: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on his head.4 His tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them towards earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that he may devour her child the moment he was born.5 she gave birth to a son, a male child, who will rule all nations with an iron scepter. And her child was snatched up by God and to his throne.6 The woman fled into the desert to a place prepared for her by God, where she might be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Ok i believe that 1,260 days is EXACTLY 3 and a half years. Now whom stole what from whom lady? This is a load of crap and she knows it. that pisses me off. What do you guys think? Sounds kinda fishy.

Ok, I'm not saying the story was stolen, but you are a complete idiot for accusing someone of ripping off the Bible. The Bible is a history book, and basing fictional stories on real history is not stealing, you moron.

The degenerates stole from a poor Black woman, much like the Oracle herself. Frankly, I don't care if she wrote the story or not. I just want to see her get alot of money from the Wacko Bros. because they never did anything for me. I mean, did they share any of the profits with me or give me some free tickets? NO! They have done nothing for me. I spit on them.

Won't everyone help me and spit on them?

Imagine if Harry Potter had been ripped off by the Wachowski brothers.

Since we are all here racializing her, lets look at that.

Sophia did what any white woman would do when a pair of thieves stole her story. She sued and won.

I don't see what all the hub-bub is about.

SOphia's story is far less inspired by the Bible than the Lord of the Ring's story. In fact, there are classes at major universities that teach that the Bible itself is a consistent template for all great Sci-Fi, I should know. I was in one of those classes and that is an inescapable fact.

You cannot escape the Biblicality of just about all great sci-fi, its a part of our culture, and it's also subconscious.

But that's beside the point. You all in here, against Sophia, are finding excuses that simply were not a part of your psyche when you encountered sci-fi beforehand.

I mean, Battlestar Galactica is extraordinarily biblical in it's theme and that's the best Sci-fi on Sci-fi to this date.

Why are you all in here so driven to discredit her?

How much more would you hate her if she stole your story and made a billion dollars off of it, and her fans are on a website saying they hate you and you suck.

Good point, but I don't think there is a chance against her. And you are hoping she loses (even if you were convinced they did steal from her)?

1. show us the sketches.

2. her characters were not named neo, trinity etc, they were Icon/Ikhan/Iceus/Morningstar etc...(although they may sound similar...hmm)

3. was it the judge that said, "NO NO, you cant settle out of court!" or was it someone else who didnt want to settle out of court, I'm not sure but I dont really think a judge has power over something settled out of court.

where is your source for all of this? the same sites that all say the exact same thing (pretty much word for word) as every other pro-sophia site?

did you also listen to her interview? the one where she claims that she is a prophet from god, and she can see the future and says that the book, the davinci code, was written about her...

i agree, you should not slander people, even if they are "white thieving devils"

by "son of a bitch" you mean rude, right? if so, sorry if i came accross that way, im not trying to sound rude at all...(maybe its the look on the face in my avatar?) and im not trying to sound all high and mighty in any way either, please dont get me wrong. it just kinda gets to me when people come here saying certain things and telling people to start reading more, when it seems like that person hasnt even read enough about the case him/herself. i was just trying to point out that the things that you said were not all entirely true....

one example: while it may be true that she sent in some sketches or whatever she says, when her supporting websites say, "she submitted sketches" and then they post pages from the matrix comics and (in a way) try to pass them off as hers...thats not the whole truth. its very misleading. a lot of people think that those drawings are hers, when they simply are not...and that is because the way it is presented on those webpages, the sources are not very reliable.

is that the same link that has been posted here before?

yeah, claiming that she has already won her lawsuit, yadda yadda yadda...there is a disclaimer at the end of the article telling that it is, in fact, false and she has not won anything except for the case to be moved to trial.

did you read the very end of the article?

slccglobelink.com...

Quote:

CORRECTION REGARDING PREVIOUS STORY

In reference to the recent article entitled "Mother of the Matrix Victorious," some information has been deemed misleading. Ms. Sophia Stewart has not yet won her case against Joel Silver, Time Warner and the Wachowski Bros. The decision on October 4th enabled Ms. Stewart to proceed with her case, as all attempts to have it dismissed were unsuccessful. Ms. Stewart's case will proceed through the Central District Court of California.

Thanks,
The Globe Staff

Does anybody else find it ironic that on a site where they are lambasting the Wachowski bros. and promoting Ms. Stewart's case, they're promoting Dr. Cornel West?

The same Cornel West that not only gave a philosohpical commentary for the box set saying how brilliant the movies were, but also had a role in the movies! Whitelaugh

How would YOU be able to tell the difference between the dream world...and the real world?
