I love the Studio Ghibli stuff from Miyazaki!

"Castle In The Sky" and "Princess Mononoke" are already in my collection and tomorrow I'm finally going to get my copy of the Oscar winning "Spirited Away"!

Got my copy of Spirited Away. I'd forgotten how cool that movie was from last year when I watched my friends copy he got from Hong Kong. I can't believe how badly Disney marketed that fantastic movie!

Has anyone seen Perfect Blue? I haven't seen that yet but I really want to!

I don't think I'll get a copy of Akira. I saw it already and I thought the ending was a bit rubbish. I was a bit dissapointed with Metropolis too.

I just found out that it was mostly known for the Video Games (final fantasy, I mean). Oops.
Many of us think that the W. Brothers stole most of the Matrix story from Ghost shell.
I like Chobits, it's pretty funny. I like the CLAMPs drawings, and it's SO cool that 5 friends are drawing it together! (^_^)
Right now, though, I'm obsessed with Dragon Knights, by Mineko Okami. I might start Lemen Lunae (spelled SOMETHING like that). I'm going to change my avatar to a Dragon Knights thing as soon as I have more PICTURES! But yes.

Oh, something Matrix related: If you've read Chobits, it's about personocoms, human looking servent computer/robots. It seems to take the positive side of making machine slaves. Interesting how it varies from the Matrix.

The STORY of Ghost In The Shell isn't anything LIKE the story of The Matrix. What is similar is the STYLE of the two movies. They also have similar philosophical ideas underlying them.

I think the term "stolen" is a bit harsh don't you? :s

Sorry! I haven't READ that series, I've just HEARD about it from a close friend, and THAT'S why I wanted to bring it up! So I could know the truth. (^_^)

yes i have...splintey is showing signs of abnormal behavior...but it happens to me everyday every second of my life...so it's fine w/ me.

And you haven't even met my "poppets" yet. *giggles wickedly* It's an a post somewhere around here....
My avatar is so cool! I love it. Lord Kharl is awsome. It's going to stay for a loooong time. So unfortuantely, there is nothing you can do about it. But despair not, for there is hope. I'm downloading more pictures from Dragon Knights, so there is a possibility that I might change it to Rath or Cesia (other characters in the manga).
Pray for me, pray for my long-lost-to-sin, corrupted, insane soul. Hahaha!
