ye we both use carnet (croatian academic research network) u cen get it for free if u go to school or college there...so it starts with 169 in both but other digits are different...they have to be

No it's very possible

I could do it. I'd connect through my broadband connection to one account and through a dial-up to the other.

My broadband is through a cable provider, the dialup could be through a standard ISP. Each would allocate an IP address from their range, since they buy addressed in blocks, the addresses would be significantly different.

besides cmu stands for (carnet modemski ulaz) in croatian and in english it would be carnet modem entry...so it cant be broadband duh
