Hi,

Thank you for the response. I certainly see where you're coming from in your view of Neo being the one. I have looked at it from this very point of view that perhaps the Oracle was not the "good" Oracle that she was potrayed to be. I happen to feel that the movie actually made it pretty clear that she in fact was there as a control program because of her intuative nature. But the feeling I was left with regarding her was that she originally was there to offer a better means of control by the issertion of choice even at a subconcious level into the Matrix. However, being that she was a program of the machines who in fact have AI and are self aware, I feel she to became aware of the true nature of choice. Well she obviously had to in order to create it and have it be effective in the Matrix. I feel that she eventually fell "victim" to her own intuitiveness and made her own choice.

Yes I do believe that she originated the prophesy and that it was rittled with some lies. But I also believe that Neo actually helped her to see the true value of choice. I feel that she came to realize that "real" choice was extremely important. This is what I feel she meant when she told Neo, "well for whatever it's worth...you've made a believer out of me." I think once she realized the importantance of "real" truth and not the manufactured one from her, that she actually turned away from her perpose and began chose to help Neo become the ONE. I think it's obvious that when she said, "I don't know what's going to happen...because know one can see beyond the choices they don't understand..." that this was the first time she had made a "real" choice...one that was not purposed by the machines or dictated by her own logic and reason but it was a pure choice made in "faith"

So I definetly see where you're coming from on this...with this being said I'll respond to you simply like this:

I just did not like the way they ended Revolutions.

I think that the Wachowski Bros. were and are far more capable of an ending that would've been and should've been more clever, pallatable, and artistical.

Take Care

Hi Ron,

I was just thinking about some of things you have said previous about Revolutions and I was just curious.. you said that you enjoyed it up until the final ending.. so does that mean you enjoyed everything else about trilogy EXCEPT just the way it ended?

if so, was the ending THAT overwhelming to make you hate Revolutions?

sorry it was just something i was thinking about.

You talk about the special effects being poor and you give the example of the APU's in Zion.. comparing it to Aliens.. but the task in hand was much greater for the Matrix team.. while you pointed out how the APUs looked fake because the CGI was obvious.. you have also overlooked that with the exception of the actors inside the APUs.. 90% of EVERYTHING else on the screen.. including the background is also CGI. I always felt that the criticisms of special FX in the sequels have been unfair. People criticised the Burly Brawl in Reloaded for using a digital Neo.. and yes.. its not 100% photo-realistic yet.. but when have you ever seen anything like that? Look back at special effects just 10 years ago and see how much we've come along.. until Reloaded NOBODY had ever been able to employ a digital human in a movie before.. again, in those scene people were always able to point out how Neo looked fake, but failed to realise that there were some shots in there.. which were 100% CGI.. in Revolutions, the siege of zion sequence is nothing like anything which has ever graced a cinema screen.. we're not yet at a stage where you cannot tell the difference, but we are getting there..

I agree. If you compared the Burly Brawl scene with other movies, the CGI team did a really good job, in my opinion. I mean, compare it to Blade 2 or even the Lord of the Rings (where Legolas was standing on top of the cave troll in Moria). The CGI was really obvious and quite uncomfortable to look at.

I wonder what would happen if you ate both pills...

You say you are a published writer, yet you spell "cease" and "prophecy" incorrectly.

Anyway.

I didn't like your rewritten ending to the story because it made the whole Trilogy a non-event. We are led to believe that it all means something, but it's really just 2 kids playing an advanced game of cards. I know that would have spoiled it for me.

OTTAWA — Canadians are bracing themselves for a bad news budget from Prime Minister Stephen Harper's government and are firmly opposed to the Tories' plan to slash the public nike-air-jordan.org... pension system for future senior citizens, a new poll has found.

The national survey by Ipsos Reid nike-air-max-pascher.org..., conducted for Postmedia News and Global TV, suggests that while Canadians are ready for a March 29 austerity budget that slashes government spending to reduce the deficit, the public has not yet accepted Harper's argument for why the pension system needs to be cut.

The poll found that 49 per cent of Canadians are preparing for a "bad news" budget from federal Finance Minister Jim Flaherty and that 57 per cent do not "trust" Harper and the Conservatives to make the "right choices" to ensure the budget is "fair and reasonable nike-air-max-pascher.net...."

As well nike-air-max90.net..., more than two-thirds of Canadians oppose the view that the country needs to "sacrifice" pensions to keep taxes down or increase the retirement age to control rising pension system costs.

"If he moves on pensions, it's going to get nasty," Ipsos Reid president Darrell Bricker said in an interview Friday.

Bricker said it's clear the government has "conditioned" the public for a tough budget and that Canadians won't be expecting tax cuts or a message of "sunshine and celebration" from Flaherty air-max-soldes.net....

But it has failed to prepare the public for the political time bomb — on pension cutbacks — that seems ready to explode.

"To the extent that there is going to be a controversial and difficult part of this budget that could get the government in some real difficulty acheternikechaussures.org..., it would be around this issue. It's because they have not made the case."
