Star Wars Ep 5 & 6 are the only ones I like, I'm hoping that episode 3 isn't just another George Lucas Hollywood screw up.

Good link anomaly, many thanks. I`ve been hunting for star wars tidbits but big Daddy Lucas and the death squad have been closing down sites faster than Markets full of coughing chickens in Asia. The queen of Naboo pic is quite interesting, i like the look, hope it to be real. Likewise the anakin in black armour pic you liked, also has potential.

I`m hoping for big things with episode 3, though i would have preferred the Thrawn trilogy. Everybody loves a bad guy who actually knows what he is doing and doesnt act mad. Thrawn was the man.

Still we did get a lot of new things out of the prequels and they had a nice feel to them. I just hope that episode 3 is as dark as it is meant to be. If we can get something in the same vein as Empire strikes back, but with more fighting, then that is spot on. I`d like to see some inquisitors too, maybe even Tremayne.

1:Anakin and obi wan infiltrate dooku's most powerful vessel during the biggest space battle seen in a starwars film

on board they are confronted by a massive cyborg type machine that uses the lightsabres of fallen jedi in its many mechanical arms

during the fight obi wan is injured and anakin destroys the machine(known as general grievous)

after he saves obi wan and escapes from the vessel and returned to corascant,anakin becomes increasingly enraged at the fact that he recieved no recognition for single handedlly destroying grevious

sensing anakins frustration,palpatine jumps on his oppertunity to begin turning anakin to the darkside by requesting that anakin be his personal body guard(see below)


2:mace windu is the soul jedi left on corascant as all the rest are leading the clone troops in the war

palpatine asks for anakin to be his peronal body guard and when they are in palpatines room on corascant he reveals himself to be a sith lord to anakin and entices him to the dark side

windu feels the disturbance in the force and goes to palpatines room to investigate where he is confronted by anakin and palpatine

the first light sabre duel begins in which anakin slays windu

another twist on this is that it happens in a similar way only when windu goes to investigate anakin is not there...palpatine reveals himself to be a sith lord to windu and windu fights and defeats his imperial guards...anakin then comes in and palpatine convinces anakin that the jedi are trying to assasinate palpatine and because of the constant praise that palpatine has heaped on anakin in episode 2 then anakin takes the side of palpatine and slays windu

palpatine then convinces anakin to complete his path to the dark side as this will be the only way to meet his potential.

3:anakin after turning to the darkside,leads the clone troops into a slaughter of the jedi who are hopelessly outnumbered

after most of them are destroyed he travells to naboo to speak with the now heavily pregnant padme

he tells her that he still loves her but that the jedi are plotting the downfall of the republic

he then leaves to finish his buisness in destroying the remaining jedi who have taken refuge on an as yet un-named volcanic planet

obi wan shows up on naboo where he is confronted by padme who is convinced that the jedi have turned bad

obi wan eventually convinced her of the truth that anakin has defected to the darkside and finds out from her where anakin has gone

he then leaves for the planet unbeknown to him that padme has sneaked aboard his starfighter

obi wan lands on the volcanic planet and confronts anakin
during their arguement padme emerges from the starfighter and anakin is so enraged that she has lead obi wan to him that he force chokes her until she is unconcious

the battle between anakin and obi wan ensues and it is the longest lightsabre duel ever in starwars

force jumps up the side of the volcanoes etc

eventually they are fighting on the rim of a volcano and obi wan slashes of anakins hand(the one he has left) and also one of his legs...he falls into the volcano and obi wan thinks he has destroyed him

obi wan then climbs back down the volcano and leaves with the badly injured padme to meet with yoda...

padme gives birth on naboo by section to luke and leia who are then separated in order to protect them...luke is given to his uncle on tatooine and leia is given to the king of wherever the hell she is from

padme dies during the births

the film cuts back to the volcano where we see anakin perched on a ledge inside the volcano where he become horrendously burned from the heat

a large ship with the emperor comes down and droids are despatched to pick up anakin...

then it cuts to a medical facility on corascant where medical droids are working on anakin...fitting his robotic limbs etc as well as his breathing apparatus

after he is awoken anakin is told that he was responsible for padme's death

he react with terrifying power in which he uses the force to destroy the building he is in...

the final scenes are a combination of seeing luke being cared for on tatooine and the same with leia wherever...obi wan moving across the desert in order to make sure he is close to the only hope that the resistance has against the darkside

the final scenes sees the mask being lowered onto the newly named "darth vader" followed by the breathing

Thanks, man. I also am a big Star Wars fan and have been hoping that Ep. 3 lives up to its potential. I liked the little summary of Ep. 3 you listed but have a couple of concerns.

1) I hope Padme doesn't die during child birth. In Jedi, Leia says her mother died when she was very young but still remembers her. Luke has no recollection at all.

2) Obi-Wan can't know Leia is Luke's brother. In Empire, Obi-Wan says that w/o Luke, there is no hope. Yoda quickly counters and says, "No, there is still another."

What do you think?

Oh yeah...I've been meaning to ask you, I saw you mentioned Snow Patrol as one of the bands you've been listening to. At least I thought it was you. I've been thinking about picking up their CD. What's their sound like? They sound a lot like another band I like, The Doves.

yeah...the doves are superb as well...although they had a massive gap between their first and second album...i hope they dont have the same gap again

just bought "hopes and fears" by keane...their debut album...it came out yesterday and its magnificent...you should get that too...another band that are very much like the doves are "the leaves"...

as for the starwars stuff...you bring up some very interesting problems for the meld between the 3rd and 4th films....i hope they can pull it off

I totally agree w/you about the Doves 1st and 2nd albums. But, a lot of bands seem to go that route lately. Their first album is great than the next a big dissapointment. I heard some of the Leaves stuff, but not enough to warrant me buying an album. It's a good thing their's this little thing called the Internet.

Wow, so much prequel bashing.... I agree that Harrison Ford is the MAN, but look, I was alive for all three original SW films - okay, so I was only 3 when the first one came out, do the math - but I still love the prequels, I don't care what anyone says. They are a part of the SW universe; if you ask me, you can't hate the prequels and still call yourself a Star Wars fan.

As for me, AOTC actually tied TESB for my favorite SW film when it came out. I expect Ep3 to surpass them both.

And, yeah... Thrawn has no equal. when I first read that trilogy, all I could think of was an all CGI movie trilogy (because that way Ford, Hamill and Fisher could reprise their roles, no matter how old they got) ... and the voice I kept hearing in my head for Thrawn? Avery Brooks (Hawk/Cpt. Sisko)! He's got that deep, smooth voice, that can turn cold in a snap.

I completely agree w/you on those that hate the prequels. You're really not a true fan of the saga if you dismiss all but the original trilogy. I also agree w/you on how good AOTC was. I think it's #3 on my list (Empire & New Hope are tops).

star wars can suck my big juicy balls and enjoy it. I hate them movies there so lame. no real thinking involved in any of them except on the prequals and how they screwed up the over all story by changing the story lines and how stupid lucas is, but thats it.
