It would be a glitch in the system if a movie was made about the Matrix and we live in the Matrix....

Or would it? The machines can't stop the choice to put it out, and when the humans say, Wow, that was cool, but totally not possible, they just sit back and laugh at our ignorance. DOO DEE DOO DEE!

Yes that is true but I do know some people that actually think that that movie is reality. And i bet that there are manymore out there. So of course the machines cant control choice. But they would probably ask the architect to make another Matrix so that these people would be erased and there wouldnt be any possibility that they could reject the Matrix.

The movie wouldn't make much difference considering how many people didn't even understand it. Thats a bit concerning if someone actually believes in it.

There a free comic on the official site that tells exactly that story. The movie is supposed to be another mean of control to detect people able to understand or not the concept

what do you think about Goliath ? Why did they send a human to do a machine's job ?
How come that when 200.000 humans died because of the first missile, they could rebuild an entire city and backup humans (the AI said they have mirrors) ?

The horn-rimmed guy said that the human was floating for a few nanosecond by the time that they rebuild London ? So they can transfer human spirits from one body to another ?

All this sounds pretty contradictory, don't you think ?

Maybe that the Wachowski didn't supervise the story ? If they did, then it simply means that AI can do whatever they want with human minds, as simple as that

Its easily one of the most revealing & explanotory comics, I have no answer for your questions since I read it so long ago, I'll reply with my answers as soon as I get time to read it.

Good question. They can't change Neo's mind becaus his mind is the key, the missing part of the equation. They can make slight changes, but nothing that would corrupt the famous code.

Remember too, that Cypher asked to have a new life, to forget everything and all. It just proves that machines can do almost whatever they want with human brains.

I still havn't gotten around to reading the comics again but I can tell you that the Clouds above the Earth actaully contain Nano-bots creating an electrical barrier that no machine can conquer ( the Logos went above the clouds and pretty much just flew into one gigantic Electro Magnetic storm.) Thus explaining why they sent a human ( the ship he was in must of been able to resist the Electro magnicity, might of had a solid mettalic exterior to subside the waves) to do "a machines job"!
