I need to see the Oracle first... kidding.

But for reals, I think that we can say what we might "want" to do but put in the actual situation, who knows what anyone would do?

I would want to stay unplugged and help fight, no matter how hopeless it may seem at the time. I couldn't even think about being plugged back into The Matrix without memory when I knew first that it was all fake. I wouldn't be able to do it.

To me the red pill = chosing self created illusions and the blue pill = chosing systematically created illusions. I am the self-concieted type so I would chose the red pill, and stick with it.

Plus, being unplugged would be cooler if you could plug into all of those simulation programs. Think about it.

If I was inside this "so called realty" of the matrix I wouldn't want to know the truth. Because in all sense of realty choice still remains an allusion.... even if one is not consciuos of the it. That is unless this knowlege of truth affects one's afterlife (as in having a relationship with God). Which this premise gets away from the the fairytale of this movie but is very real in the existance that we know. In this case not knowing the "truth" is detrimental to one's existance and to one's adterlife.

Sounds like a good premise for some fanfics! "______ in the Construct"

I would hate living in an illusion, a world that is a lie, and everything in it isn't...real. Yeah, I know, I know, what IS real, how do you DEFINE real. But I mean real as in, not the truth, a place where I could never really be truly happy in, no matter how sucessful I was in it.
Red pill for me. Zion is much cooler place, besides. AND YOU CAN FLY ONCE YOUR OUT! heeheehee! Cool

TRUE! --nervous --very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad?

The problem with knowing the truth is that once you know it, it changes the way you percieve yourself, life and everything around you. Curiosity is inherent in human nature - that is why most people choose the red pill, and choose to experience a life other than what they have always known; truth has a price, and that price is sacrifice. Many find this hard, and so choose once again to live a lie (as did Cipher in Matrix 1). As for myself, I could not bear to go back, if that had been me. The truth is just too compelling.

While the war is going on I would not want to be taken out of the matrix. It means you get to live in a disgusting world with no sun and eat goo outside the matrix and you get to be chased by killers in black suits when you are in the matrix,

When the war is over then, yeah sure I'll wanna be let out, cause then I can go back in and fetch peeps and do a few super jumps while i'm there. Awesome!

It's hilarious to see the results, people are voting for freedom but how many of you actually are trying to fight the lies and the jail our society has built? Few of you, and how many of you look at those doing so like anormal and devils?

Few people do, I'm happy to see people can see truth and lies in the movie, now "shoot ur life on a camera" and "watch" it, you'll see plenty of lies around you and from yourself. I'd suggest anyone to do that, you'd see we are in a matrix as well.

Yep, just look at BUSH! Bannermuahaha Ah, lies! They surround our politics, news, and most of our lives. So, the question is, what are WE going to do about it? What are we going to do to stop it?

I couldn't go back once I knew that truth...

and while fighting is a scary thing (sure it is great to watch in the movies but how many of us have been in real combat for our lives?) I would remain but living with a lie is not my cup of tea... give me the truth and I will learn to live with it

Hmmm best scenario for me would be to go back in only this time with a machine feeding me nutritious food rather than that dead body sludge. I would then use my downloaded knowledge of kung fu to kick ass and have fun. Think of the tricks you could perform if you had Morpheus' skills! It'd be better if I could fly like Neo tho.

like they say in the piece of crap in the animatrix called matriculated, to an artifical mind all reality is virtual, who is to say that a human mind is not artifical? everything may be artifical in comparison to something else. also if you read the book Taking the red pill, it notes that the matrix is not immoral, it is only artifical. so you could live a "real moral life" in the matrix. even if i was freed, from the matrix already, i'd have to make the same choice, for the reasons stated above and beause i prefer tastee wheet, above goop.

It is purpose that created us.

If I could go back to my little pod, then yes I would..
I couldn't imagine anything more boring than being an inhabitant of Zion.
Give me the Matrix anytime.
If I could live in Zion, but also Enter the Matrix when I wanted THEN and only THEN would I opt for Zion... You could say I want the BEST of BOTH worlds...and why not? Cool

Indeed a tough question. Although knowing the prophecy is a lie, that would kill all hope. Without hope, one would give up more easily. Without hope, one would not be inspired and continue to fight.

However, I would continue the resistance, because I would rather die fighting to keep my freedom, than to live as a slave.

Is a prison that you cannot see, or smell or touch really a prison. Certainly the matrix symbolises a kind of oppression, but without being seen as symbolic the matrix isn't much of a prison at all.
