I'm posting a link to a new site which will be coming online in the not too distant future..
It's a Matrix Fan Film called Matrix-Syntaxed.

It's the brain-child of my friend and fellow Smith Fan Syntax.
It's being made at the moment, I have been acting as a consultant to the film.

It's all computer generated and it's going to be absolutely brilliant....

Could you ask them why the suggested addy for the old trailer doesn't work?

And why it's not a link - we have to retype the address copied from the graphic?

I've been having terrible trouble getting in touch with Chris.
I've had no contact for the past two weeks, so I'm a little in the dark myself!
I'm trying to get him on ICQ tonight so I will try and find out what's happening.

Just type the link in the address bar exactly as is shown on the site,
you can then either watch using the flash player or download the file to your machine.

Well here's an update-

I've spoken to Chris tonight. He's had a few problems but everything is on track. I'm going to post some of his images on the photopost section for you to view. I think you'll like them.

Ok. First off, I have tried to become a 3d animator on this project. The only problem is, is that I can't get a hold of chris. I've tried Icq, e-mail, fourms, and I just cant get a hold of him. He said I should send him some of my work. I did, and I never got a response. Maybe if he told me what file type, I could get a resonse.

I have been frequently checking back at the matrix-syntaxed homepage and was glad to see that it had been updated, but only with a image.

Another Smith do you have any idea on a possible release date for the movie or even a trailer or somethin?

i'm dying to see more!

I emailed Syntax the other day.

He has much going on in the 'Real World' at the moment, but assures me that everything is ok.
I'll email him again and get him to come here and post.

As Another Smith allready told you, I'm currently pretty busy in the real world, but even if it's going on slowly right now the development continues and I have absolutely no intention to stop the project!

To qoute the mail I sent Another Smith:

As you noticed the project's website still get's it's Updates - just have a look at the countdown to see when the next Update will take place! Please keep in mind that some updates are not meant for public which means you won't see them! But all relevant infos & updates will be announced on the project's website! However allthough I'm very busy at the moment, I still try to have enough time for all of you which means you can still get me via ICQ: 207122249 (not always in person, but if you leave a message I promise I'll get back to you as fast as possible) and by eMail (Address is on my website) so if you have any questions / comments please feel free to contact me! =)

There's also something I'd like to offer you as an Alternative:

Collect all the questions / comments / suggestions you have and confront me with it by mail or even during a chat! I know it's really going on slowly at the moment and you certainly wait for some big news (which we will give you once everything reached a specific dev. stage) but let me assure you that it's worth the wait! Oh and a small hint: Keep an eye on the countdown since it's not only meant to announce the next updates!

chris said this and i have been thinking about what this could mean but could not come up with anything. another thing i was wondering was why did the timer on the site just go back to 28 days yesterday and nothing gets updated?. i was really looking forward to something new to watch.

Well, it's been pretty late when I came home from my job and I couldn't even keep my eyes open, so all I did was to upload some files that are required to run the gallery and posted my new plan file the next day you can see this if you return to the website and check it's current status!

About the "Keep an eye on the Countdown..."- thing I won't reveal every secret here....at least not yet! But if you look close at my previous posting (not just the line you quoted) maybe you'll find the key to the locked door!

BTW: Nice nickname you have there!

One thing about the countdown - the seconds count down from 60 to 1 (rather than 59 to 0).

Finding the key is one thing, finding the door is quite another.

i just read what you posted and remembered that a "cypher" is a mathematical symbol denoting an absence of quantity, a zero. Mabye this is a hint that the character cypher will feature in the film...

Or maybe it was just a coding error.lol

At least none of the movies! However I think if you really like puzzles you'll find the solution sooner or later (I guess I have to create far more difficult puzzles for people like you but before I do that , let's find out how long it takes until you have the solution to THIS one!)

Maybe. But sometimes you allready found the door and you simply didn't notice it! Believe me once you found the key finding the door won't be a problem anymore!

Sorry to disappoint you, but Cypher died in the first movie so don't expect to see him again - he's not a program and therefor can't be reloaded.
