The point is not that the pic above looks like the Thomas cross

zynxamek said that "in dazzling yellow glow as the "Thomas Cross", the Savior of Life for both Man and Machine ".

Just answer : where is the central circle and the petals around ? JUST answer that, and if you find them I'll agree that it is a Lotus

Zynxamek didn't say it was a lotus, he just talked about it. You do have a bad behavior since it is not the first time I see you makign rubbish comments without any argument and anyway, saying rubbish and then pretending that you requested more info to understand me is just the proof (was it really needed?) that you just don't know what u talk about, you just throw whatever goes through your mind.

And for your info, it is obvious that the W Brothers concealed the Indian pilosophy with the Christian one through gnosticism since Indians have a more universal view of the concept, they can contain other religions by explaining that the intial God divided himself into smaller God (yeah that's a gnostic idea now) while judaic religions can be explained only by the fact that "our" God is not really who he pretends to be.

Anyway, they said that the Matrix was inspired by a quantic Buddhism theory...

In the picture you posted the petals are the bits you have highlighted as "wings". The cross is not present in that picture, but in the earlier part where Neo initially glows with a bright white light - Neo IS the cross.

Please tell me more about this"Quantic" Buddhist Theory as I have not heard of it....

Omg the Brothers made only one public chat with Matrix fans, and you tell me that you didn't read it ? The complete interview is on the official site.

U still didn't show me the circle. And the petals of the lotus are all around, not one inside of the other. That's a lotus :

Nothing to have with my pic, but in order to avoid polluting the forum for nothing, let's just say that we desagree.

Not trying to start the debate up (and I'm sure you realised this already), but the image of a lotus in the picture you posted is seen from the side rather than from above (the image on the site you linked to shows a lotus as seen from above).

Um.... I knew that Buddhism was in the matrix, but I did not know that it was Quantric Buddhism. I have never even heard of quantric. I have only heard of Mahayana, Hiniyana, Vajrayana and Theravada....

There is no such thing as quantic Buddhism, Fatty.

Apoc is reffering to the fact when the Bros talked about Buddhism in their chat. They said they were always fascinated by the connection between Buddhism and quantum physics.

Quantum Physics, Apoc. Its different.

I know, I just didn't feel like searching their exact words since I supposed that any good fan would understand what I was referring to.

I heard them say buddhism and quantum physics. They never even MENTIONED Quantic Buddhism and that's why I couldn't remember them talking about it!

So let's get this straight - you made up the term "Quantic Buddhism" just to TEST ME? You are one twisted individual. Sort it out.

So after 100 lines of bullshit, you just find that short situation to critisize me ? And you didn't know it. Since Akshat Gupta guessed it easely, how comes that you didn't ?

And you are the hypocrite one, you just throw *anything* without thinking one second about it, it is obvious to anyone reading your posts. And the worst of it, is that you just act arrogantly by stating that others are wrong and you just never give any argument. And now, you use that little word to accuse me, now who is the twisted one ? You disgust me , really !

Is it so hard to make a link between "Buddhism and quantum physics" and "Quantic Buddhism " ?

Considering that "quantic" is a made-up word - yes!

Since the word quantic exists, it just shows again that you talk bs. That's the proof that you never heard of that comment the brothers made, you hypocrite.

Yes quantic is a real word, but it is a mathematical term which has nothing to do with either buddhism or quantum physics. It certainly has no religious meaning:

quantic

\Quan"tic\, n. [L. quantus how much. See Quantity.] (Math.) A homogeneous algebraic function of two or more variables, in general containing only positive integral powers of the variables, and called quadric, cubic, quartic, etc., according as it is of the second, third, fourth, fifth, or a higher degree. These are further called binary, ternary, quaternary, etc., according as they contain two, three, four, or more variables; thus, the quantic is a binary cubic.

I was willing to let this all go and be civilised. Then you had to spoil it didn't you:

"I supposed that ANY GOOD FAN would understand what I was referring to."

Meaning that I'm a crap and stupid fan I suppose?

I take back what I said before. I wasn't saying you were stupid earlier, but I am now. Only a very stupid person would say something idiotic like that on this forum. I never said that you weren't a good fan and I don't see why you would say something so insensitive to me.

For everyone else:

BTW if anyone has NOT seen the wachowski interviews I have posted them on the following thread:

Good boy, u did ur homework. In about 100 message, this is the first interesting information that you give (that's not a compliment) so enjoy it, kid.
A pity that you don't know what you are talking about because quantic is an adjective and you searched in the dictionnary for a common noun. Please stop trying to look clever when you are not.

As if it was not enough, in the interview that you posted yourself, the brothers themselves say that "There's something uniquely interesting about Buddhism and mathematics, particularly about quantum physics, and where they meet....".
So this IS about quantum physics and there is a relation between them and the Brothers themselves admit that it was their purpose there in the interveiw YOU so proudly posted (without even reading it obviously). lol

Moreover, I don't see the point to post that interview into a topic dedicated to "interviews that can't be viewed anywhere online" lol

You'd better lay down kid, you're not smart enough to argue with me. But go on, I like haunting you.

It's not called "interviews that can't be viewed anywhere online. It's called "matrix interviews & articles". Quite frankly there is no such thing as quantic buddhism and you are not smart enough to argue with my big toe!

I dont think that agents get deleted everytime they lose a fight. like at the start they lose trinity and they dont get deleted. trinity shoots brown in the head and hes still around in fact neo killed all 3 agents and got morpheous back from them didnt he. i think they only get deleted when something serouis happens. Smith was destroyed by neo and as we know agents come in 3's so there for jones and brown were left out spawning 3 new agents.

See what i mean
