»What's with Neo and the Sentinal?«

In Revolutions, when Neo and Trinity are heading to the source, and Neo is blowing up all those bombs, sentinals come. But, one in particular looks like it goes through Neo. Why does it do this? What does Trinity mean when she says Gotcha?

I vaguely remember at scene as I only saw 3 times. I think sentinels were coming at them and Trinity was fighting them off.

Ok, as I have seen it 5 times (and I reccommend the Imax, if it's still showing there!) I have always been confused by this. So, I'm going to try to explain it in a little more detail. When Neo is using his mind powers to explode the sentinals attacks, we see through Neo's eyes (in that orangy type glow) a sentinal coming at them from outside of the hover craft. Then, we see it go through the ship's front window and INTO Neo, at which point he lets go of Trinity's hand. He has a really pained expression on his face, when Trinity grabs his hand and he snaps back into reality. How did the sentinal do that? Or was Neo only imagining it?
