If 1 cant survive without other, what happened to creator?

If neo cant survive without smith, because they are opposites, why did the creator not die when smith transformed the oracle. Surely working on this principle, there would no longer be anyone to 'balance out the equations' and the matrix would be distroyed?

No. Oracle didn't die. She was still there, just being controlled by Smith. Remember, he has her sight now. And its the Architect, not creator.
