Well I like Beyond and Detective Story almost equally.

But if I were to put them all in order...

Beyond [best-loved it!]
Detective Story [good action-loved the Agents!]
1st Renaissance
2nd Renaissance
World Record
Matriculated [worst]

Rebel: I am trying to save the human race!

Me:People like YOU are the ones who started this mess. Ever watch the Animatrix?

Rebel:What?

Dont know why but my favourite was Kid's Story. there's just something about it Smile

thex.fm... - puts the X into the matrix.

Its quite hard to find a single favourite among them. For example, the feel of Kids story is great, and the soundtrack to that episode (the Peace orchestra tune) is perfect.

Ultimately, my two favourites would be Beyond and World record Equally.

World Record is so inspiring, and puts us in a completely different mentallity to the sympathy we feel in 2nd Rena. The final scene in WR is fantastic, as Dan tries to stand again through sheer will power.

However, Beyond truly is a work of art. Some parts are so obscure and thought-inducing, while other parts really pick the pace up. But, what would we expect from Koji Morimoto...

Detective's Story

The black and white coloring of that film was awesome.

I like 2nd Renaissance, Matriculated, and Detective best.

Program was strange.. I didn't understand who the characters were.

Beyond was good. However, it was a little bit hard to place in the timeline of which Matrix it was.

Second Renaissance was great because it was just cool.. Nuff said.

I don't understand why everyone hates Matriculated so much. I think it was cool to see the surface and reprogramming the machines. Kinda gives you hope.

Detective was cool because Trinity was in it. However, I don't get why that Matrix looks so much different from the one in the movies. I've concluded that either time moves faster in the Matrix, or that that version was the 5th version of the Matrix.

It was the director's decision, to give it that look. It isn't a clue for the Matrix timeline/storyline.

Self ejecting from the matrix would be hard, wouldn't it?

So how could he do it when Neo couldn't?

Odd, quite odd indeed.

What do you guys think?
