WOW ! 31 pages !

I think that people who didnt "get" M2+M3, are pissed about it, and prefer thinking that they didnt make sense/were stupid/were different films/ etc. Its easier than to think you didnt understand them.

The thing is...even people who understood them, didnt all do so AS they were watching them. It takes some re-viewing, some discussions, a little searching. Especially if one isnt familiar with eastern and western philosopies.

They werent the easiest films to digest. So people not "getting" the films at first, isnt a problem. People NOT TRYING to undesrtand them afterwards....THATS the problem. And that is what creates so many polar opinions i think.

I don't know if familiarity with philosophy is necessary with understanding the literal story.

The science fiction cyberpunk side of the trilogy is quite logical.

It's just that seeing the undertones of the philosophical discussion is of anyone who wishes to take a bit of extra interest.

But what I do find so very cool about the trilogy is that it examines a number of different philosophies under the guise of a Hegelian Dialectic and thus allows you to follow these thematic developments, without necessarily using the name of those various philosophies.

It kind of helps to ease newcomers into thinking about the world of philosophy using colourful illustrations that grab them on a very basic level.

I thought Revolutions was great, when I walked out of the theater I was like hell yeah! Whitelaugh

Basically, the only thing I don't like about it is the Zion battle, it's too damn long.

And on a little sidenote, I think someone else should have played Niobe.

Over and out!
