Ive heard this before, there was a guy who blames everything including the columbine shootings to the matrix. he says the matrix is for sleeper agents to get there orders, isnt that crazy. I'm sorry but the White Album does not turn you into a psychotic monster. Watching Taxi Driver and fancying Jodie Foster does not normally make people gain similar delusions to De Niro's character (especially since most people realise that the characters aren't real people). And if Catcher In The Rye was so dangerous, why aren't all the children who study it in schools going out and killing people? There is simply no way to know how movies are going to affect people because it always depends on how they approach them.
