Everything is very well thought out by the Brothers.
And I love them for making it so complicated and so open for many theories.
If it would all be 100% clear we would not have these months of after-fun discussing the movies.

Yes I absolutely agree with you! The movies have set a standard, never has so much discussion and theorising gone on - long may it continue.

It could also be that the Brothers built in the very concept of the movie: you have to CHOOSE for yourself which theory you believe.

....PERCEPTION IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER....

I've been saying this for months, in the end you believe what YOU want to believe, no one can tell you what to believe as our perceptions differ so dramatically.
So we really could be debating this trilogy for many years to come! Cool

I haven't posted much, but I believe that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, as I am to mine. So, here we go....

Throughout the Mx Trilogy, the Oracle was known to tell you "exactly what you needed to know", but was that just in the movie?

In Mx3, someone mentioned (I think it was the Oracle, not sure) that Neo was the positive end of one equation, whereas another (obviously the program Smith) was the negative side of the equation. The architect's job is to balance the equation out, whereas the Oracle's job is to unbalance it....

I believe that if you watch the Mx Trilogy all in a row, it will start to make sense to you (especially on DVD, with all of the interviews). In Mx1, Smith died when Neo jumped into him. In Mx2, Smith came back, no longer a agent of the system. He said that he didn't know why he wasn't an agent, but he was a supposedly free man....Also notice that throughout the Mx Trilogy, Smith and Neo seem to be almsot equally balanced in force....

In the equation involving Smith and Neo, you see that one is positive, and one is negative....one is good, and one is bad....and when a positive and a negative combine, they equal....zero....

I think that when Smith infected people with his virus, he was left unharmed, if not pumped up a bit (obviously), but when he infected the Oracle in Mx3, a bit of data rubbed off on him, most likely because she was a program, just like him....You can tell she was in a Smith, because when the Smiths "went up in flames", she somehow appeared in a mud puddle in the crater where Neo and Smith were fighting....

When, in Mx2, Smith said that some of Neo's data must have left an imprint on him, it did it again....An agent of the Mx cannot be killed, whereas a program can (In fact, the chances are that if Neo could have kept Smith from not moving, he could have shot him and ended it a while ago....). Thus, when Neo left some data on Smith he got weaker, but the bit of power that Neo had imprinted on him also gave him strength....When Smith actually turned Neo into a Smith at the end of Mx3, Smith ended up takin in all of Neo into the Smith's family. Remember, when a positive and a negative combine, they equal zero....Henceforth, Smiths blow up, and Matrix changes back....As for the big questions at the end of Mx3, the new game coming out this year , MxOnline, is supposed to pick up right where the story left off....Thank you, DVD Bonus Features... Whitelaugh

Every beginning has an end, Neo....It just wasn't in Revolutions....

Hello, you have reached the Oracle. I'm not talkin' to you, so ask a question, and Serif will get back you as soon as possible. Thank you! BEEP!
