personally, oblivion is maybe the only thing i really fear.

But if you didn't KNOW you were in oblivion, if you had no emotions, how could you be scared of it?

to be honest i dont think siamise twins are possible. That only happens because two organisms growing in a womb get joined somehow. I think all the growing pods would only have one egg in it, to stop this from happening. But you never know....

I don't think you know how conjoined twins are made. When an egg's cells start spliting and multipying, sometimes the egg completely splits in two and separates. Thus identical twins. But sometimes, when an egg is splitting into two eggs (the identical twins), it, for some reason stops. Thus CONJOINED twins. As you see, your theory on this is invalid because one egg CAN split into two. However, I do think there is some truth to your theory. Here's mine:
What if, when the egg finished multipying itself into all the cells needed of a human body, the machine then took it and inserted it in the pod? Then, it could weed out of one the identical twins (so that, in the Matrix, they wouldn't meet randomly), and also weed out the conjoined twins also. Keep in mind that mentally disabled people might not be weeded out, because their's your different people in the Matrix. But a program or simulation extra-special might be made for a normal person so that in the Matrix, that person APPEARS to have a disability, but is, in fact, in a whole different simulation.

Quote:

even if there's only one egg, the zygote can split after fusion. but two people neednt be siamese twins in the real world, they could be programmed to be so in the matrix, to simulate randomness and imperfection in the population. appearances.
That's quite a possibility. I think that's very logical. :P

Quote:

Would have been one hell of a problem though if one belived in the matrix and one belived it was fake...even worse if the ONE was a conjoined twin.

That's exactly what I said here: matrix-explained.com...

dont let splintey hear this, he's a guy who specialises in this kind of association.

To each our own, ralphie. You still don't give me any proof for the 3 thing. But you've done a MUCH better job with this one. I agree that this book doesn't make a good refrence to the Matrix. Try Simulacra and Simulation. Or better yet, watch Matrix Revisited, which tells you all the books Keanu Reeves had to read before he even looked at the script. Be careful tho, a lot of these are post-college.

Now THERE'S a disturving image if I've ever heard one! :whitelaugh: But I'm sure NEO would enjoy that!

TRUE! --nervous --very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am; but why will you say that I am mad?

sorry i should pay attention in biology more.

ahh, what about those conjoined twins who get a SEPERATION OPERATION? if one was freed, would the other wake up? would it be like you're dragging someone around who is asleep?

If you meant the machines preforming such an operation:
They wouldn't spend that much time on two humans. They're just HUMANS, they can always grow more.

If you meant in the Matrix:
They would probably die if they were separated, because, if they were together in the real world, they would both get flushed, or one of them would get flushed, and plug up the tube! Whitelaugh

If you meant in the real world:
Well, then they would be separated. Rolling Eyes

But's it's probably pretty unlikely that they would survive, if they existed in the real world.

clever stuff splinterinyourmind..

It good to see someone looking outside of the SQUARE.

my personal ideas are that the ZERO means rebirth, In a state of nothingness. The transition from The first one to Neo.. Because of this.... ONE0ONE.

See how the word neo one is formed.

Also in the movie the letter O is used a bit.

O= 6 and it is the number of man. And also rebirth. Neo is 1 man

And the resistence worship this one man, As 2 o's= 12=1+2 =3....3 as in the trinity godhead that is the one

3 as in neo as the trinity godhead for the people.

Did anyone notice that, in the beginning of the first Matrix, the room that Trinity is in when the cops find her is 303? And later, Neo's Matrix room number is 101. And then in the Neb, Neo's room is 101.

What do you think?

Remove the zero and you have your answer. 11 and 33...1...3....3....1....x...o....o....x...

It is the Mayan way of writing their numbers. When it refers to a date, it is expressed as the number of days from 3114 BCE. Did you read that second link I posted you?

When Morpheus, Trinity, and Neo are exiting the elevator and entering Merv's restaurant, 101 is clearly on the wall behind them. So I don't see how, if trin was with them, why 101 would be up there if her number is 3. Somebody please explain.

Life/dna etc and anything at all is made up of code, binary such as 11100110 etc etc etc this is the construct of eveything ever, so your code may be 100 and mine 101 but each thing has its own string of code
