if agents in matrix 1 tried to kill neo, then how could he return to the source and reset the matrix?

when agents take over peoples body's, the person who has been token by an agent is still alive, but where does ther concious go and how and where do they go?

doesnt morpheus have to go to zion to recharge his ship?

When an agent takes over someone's body, they kind of black out or "lose time" like victims of alien abductions. If you go to the comics section of whatisthematrix.com, you can read a comic told from the point of view of someone who an agent "possessed." His vision goes all wobbly, he blacks out, and when he comes to, he's surrounded by dead bodies. Sounds like my typical weekend.

Who knows how long it had been out before it was recharged? Years could have passed between Matrix 1 and Reloaded. Given that the times given on the phone bugging program are correct, I'd say the Neb was out for at least a year before returning to Zion.

Neo is a program, Smith is a program (virus) both can use the backdoors of any operating system like the Matrix.

But they would still need the keys.

Smith is a former Agent. Maybe he knows how to get in there. Maybe the Merovingian has sold him some keys?

The answer is trojan horse. When Neo enters, he lets Smith in. How? Well he was using all the muscles except the one that matters most. What muscle was Smith refering to
I was thinking about it, and I realized why the sex scene sucked, Neo still doesnt know how to use his muscle.

Agent Smith after being destroyed, has now become a virus. I believe that now Smith is a virus and has his connection with Neo - that he now can also see the coming events. He can not enter the Architect's room as only the 'One' can enter it, so the Keymaker says.

Therefore, the Smith Virus can enter any other place i.e (when Neo visit's the Oracle) Sareth says we must go, knowing full well that something is going to happen. As they go Smith appears to kick Neo into touch.

So, Smith has Access to most places, where as Neo requires help in entering them (via Sareth and Persetheni. however u spell it).

One other thing, I believe that Neo and the machine God, come up with a deal to rid themselves of Smith but also to compromise on the running of the Matrix, However Neo after defeating Smith then does the Dirty on the Machine God with his extra powers that Neo obtains from the main system (the firey places).
