Link....Zee
Link....Zelda

Absolutely irrelevant to my choice, but its a B-side song from System of a Down. The real reason I like Link is b/c of the Actor, known mostly for his character Augustus Hill from the HBO original "OZ." He is also far more animated as an operator than Tank. As someone else had mentioned, I also like that he questions Morpheus which creates some interesting dialogue, plot lines. As Neo grabs Morph and the KM off the truck, his reaction is a classic, touchdown style, "Yes!, yes"

P.S. did anyone else notice the graffiti on the wall underneath the Adams st. Bridge, just before Neo gets into the car that says, "Tank was wrong."

I liked Link more than Tank. I just thought Link was funnier and added more personality than Tank. And Tank was removed from the sequels because of contract disputes, and I think on the official matrix site it said that he had died on a mission inbetween the first two movies, specifically how isn't said.

Link was a great example of how a person could be turned into a believer. Link was unsure but he satyed strong until the end to help Neo in everything. From the Architect to the sentinel attack of Zion.

the same actor played the prophetic inmate in the prison drama OZ.

The tank actor has spent a lot of time playing antagonists.

They are both good actors but Link always came across as more benevolent.

I would deffinately have to say Tank. He had a much part in the movie than Link did. Tank actually had a part in the miracle. But I liked Links acting too, but Tank was still better. Plus Link didn't seem to be "With It" (Knowledge Wise) during the movie. Its too bad that incident happened to Tank that would cause him to not play the role in the following movies.

No matter what you say, The Matrix Trilogy was made perfectly.

Link was ok, a likeable guy. But if MY life were on the line, I'd want Tank as my operator.

I thought link was good. But i think tank is much better, for this reason, Tank believes in the prophace, and were link doesn't.

I think Tank was the best. Link is a good operator but something didn't click with him like it did Tank. Maybe cause Tank looks like he could be a real computer hacker.

I thought link was a much better operator. Much better acted, and far better as a character. He wasn't just blindly following Morpheous, like we see all of the crew in M1 doing. This is also why I liked the introduction of Lock and Zee, among other characters.

Cypher - Definitely not a blind follower, obviously.
Mouse - A programmer/pimp, didn't seem like a blind follower.
Stitch and Apoc - Too underdeveloped to really say.
Tank - When he loaded up Neo's neuroware, he was supposed to run a bunch of non-combat progs first but ditched them to make Neo into a kungfu master.

Tank's intensity was wonderful, but I feel he suffered from a common problem "young" actors have: he wasn't loud enough. The internal dialogue the character shared with us - especially when he's flipping through the training programs he was going to run Neo through on day 1 of his training, was commendable. However, for me, he was just a bit too volume-challenged.

Harold Perrineau,as Link, is animated, has incredible range and except for the "don't do it moment" everytime I watch Revolutions, where he kisses the necklace Zee gave him, says I'm coming home, grabs the controls and is ready to shoot, I thought his performance was amazing.

He also played in the Dicapprio version of Romeo & Juliet - his character is completely insane. Screwy

I say link. Cos he was funny and stuf like that. And his name has some meaning, inev knows what it is.. I don't.
And link is in love which shows his story in reloaded and rev.
The actor for tank wasn't co-operative on the matrix set. So i don't really miss him although there is som sort of collabration to bring him back or something.
So i'ts l-i-n-k.
Peace ya'll.

Peace

I'm obviously in the small minority by saying Link. He's overall much cuter than Tank (^_^), and is in the TV series Lost (the actor, not Link himself). Good show, that.
